it's one of my favorites too. played the out of that song when that album dropped. it's widely considered to be about television/mass propaganda but can be interpreted alot of different ways. my favorite song off food & liquor easy.
got damn this is a deep ass song. been listening to it for 2 years now, and still not 100% sure exactly what everything he says means, as i have come up with so many different possibilities of what he is talking about or referring to. this is my favorite hip-hop song of all time though.
anyone have a take on this song?

Its def about TV/Media. Its a pretty damn good song. I like American Terrorist better off that album though.
I'm stuck between two things. Either it's dealing with the way TV/Media effects ones life. Or after a lot more thinking (and this is more of what I feel it is) it could be about someone who is hiding who they are and conforming to the "box" of society. But both deal with virtually the same issue... the pressures that people have to deal with to "fit in", which changes who they are and many times they dont even realize it until they are in too deep.
That and "Daydreamin'" are my favorite tracks.
The whole CD is damn good. My favorites are "The Instrumental", "Real", and "Hurt Me Soul".
