That drop was interesting though. I was surprised he got to play it after it landed outside the drop zone.
You hate people and you work in sales???
That drop was interesting though. I was surprised he got to play it after it landed outside the drop zone.
Exactly. I've worked in sales for over 10 years and it's completely ruined me on the human race. I hate people and all their back asswards ways of thinking. Its gotten to the point where its difficult to actually help people because so many of the ignorant know it all assholes already think they know everything.
I spent a good five years really truely trying to help my customers. every now and then the old me pops up and I have to stop myself from giving good solid advice. People don't want help, they don't want the truth. Garbbled up bull in a nice pretty package surrounded by everything they want to hear is what people want. In general people want salesman to faciliate a sale the way they see fit in their eyes vs. doing whats in the very best interest of the customer.
I can't even begin to fathom how many people would save hundreds a month if they would just stop what their doing and listen....and comprehend. Impossible!!!!! so instead of trying to help them do it better or smarter, I just do what they want, that way their happy and I get the sale. I've found that helping only makes people move onto the next place until they find the guy that just plays up what they want to hear. Its sad really really sad that I can't help these people save money or time or effort, pathetic world we live in.
Yeah I noticed it fell out of the circle too.
How's your life coach business coming along?
Pretty good. Helping people get past the layers and layers of a false reality of life is starting to pay off. You have to want things to change before they will. I'll help someone wanting help any chance I get.
I challenge Jimc50 to go by a trailer from B2B as a gesture and show the rest of us rich and poor can actually work together in these harsh times.![]()
I'll accept that challenge in a heartbeat. You forgot to mention a purchase at full MSRP.
Why would he do that? A richer automatically knows that the depreciation of value of a "toy" such as a trailer is so great that it makes better economic sense to rent a trailer from a third party for the duration that he would need it.
Only trailers do not depreciate as rapidly as automobiles or boats so if he has a need that exceeds a few rentals the ends will justify the means or something like that.
Long term it would probably be cheaper than the apartment he keeps his girlfriend in...
You guys can frolic through this topic until it hits page 20 I really don't give a in fact I find it rather entertaining to say the least....but I , and many others won't really be happy until we see Jimc50 or CC playing poker in one of B2b's brand new trailers, or BacktoBasics feeding or riding one of CC's horses.

I approve this post.![]()
You think?
I thought they were scamming Section 8 and WIC and basically living free and easy?
haha i thought this was a joke thread full of funny pictures. nice horses btw.
I don’t agree with the 2 stroke penalty argument but Rocco did not drop in the designated zone…The officials should have made Rocco re drop or then take a two stroke penalty….
Why would a richer buy a trailer? He'll simply stay in the five-star resort wherever he is going. And if it doesn't have a five-star resort, then why would he go there?
Richers buy a lot of trailers. The staff has to sleep somewhere.
don't forget Don Q
Maybe B2B has horse trailers too.
I don't![]()
As a richer, I just LOVE Craigs list. I've been wanting a riding lawn mower for my "estate" LOL for a long time but was too cheap to buy one retail...I've been mowing 2 1/2 acres for years with a push mower.
An ad popped up yesterday morning for a 20hp, 42" cut Toro with less than a hundred hours on it...it's like a $1600 rig new...he wanted $400 for it...I was on the phone in a second and like "where do you live, I'll be there in 30 minutes with cash"
I get there and it's a big strapping guy in his early 30's with a single wide trailer on about a 1/2 acre lot. He had a perfectly good push mower sitting next to the rider. He said he was broke and needed the money fast and thats why he was selling his mower...(he had the receipt from when he bought it last year for $1400 so it wasn't stolen)
We had a willing seller and a willing buyer and the deal got done. the whole time I was talking to him I was thinking "why the did he even buy this mower to start with?...I'm an old fart and I could mow this yard in 30 minutes with the push mower..."
All I could think was it was one of those "open a credit card with us and buy something big and make no payments for a year" deals...
Probably. People love to get themselves in trouble. 2.5 acres is way too much for a push mower though.
Richer Story Alert:
We just had a guy recently purchase a 120k Fifth Wheel, gorgeous coach too. We put about 9k in various aftermarket options on to satisfy the deal. He closed about two weeks ago and didn't tell his wife. Well he took it home after we finished all the work and she got into his ass pretty good. Living well above his means there was no way they could afford the 1,200.00 payment. He tried to give it back and asked if we could rip up the contract. We actually would have had it been the same day but it had been over a week and the deal was already funded and led you can't go back once you're that far. So he took it out for one trip wrecked it and now its sitting here needing 10k in body work and he wants us to sell it. It'll never sell he'll probably do what most people do and stop paying on it. Then he'll be ed for the next decade trying to get out from underneath a 100k repo. He traded in a really nice older model fifth wheel that he only owed about 20k on. So not only is up a creek but he'll be completely trailerless all because he wanted to live above his means and impress his buddies.
I never heard of a 5th wheel that costs 100k…Got any photos of one?
