I never agreed with make up calls. I think it's Bull . It makes the su ions warranted because they are in part opportunistically planned.

Don't forget it was reported that when Kobe took his freethrows they chanted "You're... NOT... JORDAN!"
I was really impressed with the "Good-bye" song, I thought that was pretty cool how they got that one going, and it must have sucked to be on that Laker bench. They really know how to amp their players up, even their garbage players got to do reverse alley oop slam dunks. Pretty cool championship game for them.
On the flip side, LA fans were ing garbage. So much for star power.
Suprising that Spurs fans would boo David Stern.
Obviously they will boo him about Seattle.
Duh! They were booing Stern --and rightfully so-- for his arrogant, stubborn, condescending mishandling of the officiating and the Tim Donaghy flap. Instead of making changes and trying to fix the problem, Stern's entire approach has been to deny that there's really anything wrong. He won't admit there's a problem, and instead thinks the solution is to fix the fans. He routinely mocks the fans for believing there's anything wrong with the officiating. He's a straight-up jackass.
Make-up calls are total bull . What's the thinking when a ref calls one of those make-up calls? Is it: "Oh , I made a bull call ... I know how to fix it, I'll make another bull call! That will fix things!"
Wrong. Just increases the total of bull .
i'm surprised that you're surprised.
Eh ... true. He does get booed everywhere. Except Phoenix. David Stern doesn't get booed in Phoenix, because he's too chicken to show his face in Phoenix after 2007.
I thought the boos were because Ray Allen was the rightful winner of Finals MVP
They weren't booing. They were saying, "McHale! McHale!"
Exactly.
If he ever shows up in Charlotte, all 5 Bobcat fans will boo him.
David Stern sux, the fact that he just watches a refs up his league is inexplicable
I imagine the majority of commissioners get booed when they present championship trophies because fans are never satisfied with what any particular commissioner is doing, regardless if they really deserve it or not. Plus, most commissioners start off a trophy presentation by congratulating the losing team. I wasn't paying that close of attention, but I would guess that they started really booing when Stern started out by congratulating the Lakers as a worthy Finals opponent.
LOL 1/2 through that I was thinking WTF!? Ya, he's not popular in those parts. Maybe he won't get boooed in Okla for the 1st couple games after the sonics get transfered.
As a Baylor fan and a Jason Terry hater, I have to say that video starts out with a completely clean block and a voiceover by someone who clearly didn't watch the replay. When even I'm not biased enough to buy the first clip in the video, I didn't bother to watch the rest of it. Finley was way out of bounds on that save, but the Rockets had their chances and blew it. Then again, I don't think the Spurs got jobbed all that bad by the refs. It's hard to play interior defense when Finley is your power forward.
I'm done defending David Stern after they pulled all the 2002 game 6 vids from Youtube. Those are certainly the actions of someone with something to hide.
We boo the out of Stern in Portland. The asshole will never give us an All Star game.
