In the Mexican American culture many parents don't really mind if their daughters get pregnant at a young age as long as they get a good guy who is a money maker and is going to take care of their daughters/kids and provide them with good looking grandkids. Hispanic parents will be happy and give love no matter what. Can't say the same for the majority white parents though.

I guess everybody who's doubting my views has really never gone outside the North side and experienced San Antonio's deep diverse Mexican American Hispanic Culture.

I grew up in the hood........ southside, but I'm a first generation Mexican immigrant descending from Northern Mexico from a lower class family. My mom may not be the smartest of women, she only has 3rd grade education but is one of the hardest working and nicest individuals you will come across. I didn't turn out to be a thug.I'm just about to graduate from UTSA with BA in Kinesiology. My Sister is a teacher at a southside high school and my brother a Tejano/Norteno musician. My point is your kids are a bi product of their parents. My mom kept us sheltered from all the negativity and always emphasized education(even though she didn't have any) dignity, hard work, etc. She also kept our hormones in check...lol I glad she did that or else we probably would of ed up. A lot of parents in the southside/westside.....just don't stress education enough to their kids, especially to the young Mexican American ladies. We have the highest teenage pregnancy rates in the nation. It's like that chris Rock saying, "if your daughter turns out to be a stripper.......you know you ed up as a parent".

Ok now back to Spears now. Like I said she is not your ordinary 17 year old. She has a career and money, bought her own house, supports her statutory rapist boyfriend. If anything he is the one that looks bad. We shouldn't worry too much for lynn Spears apparently she could write checks that her vagina could cash at least for now. Not like if she is struggling like your normal 17 year old would by putting stress on the parents concerning the future of the child.

I didn't say all did I? It must of been a typo but your right. I was refering mostly about the re ed Mexican American parents that make the rest of us look bad. Those are the parents that let their 13,14 year old daughters dress like complete s and hang out with wanna be thugs who are really mentally confused Mexican American youths that think their black with their edge up hairstyles and tats at the movies till 12 midnight(WTF) It boils down to the way the parents raise their kids.
