yeah, he looks like he could still do some quality minutes but let's stop dreaming.
Hey, he can't be worse than Francisco Elson who cracked the rotation.
Get the Five-O on the squad for the O-Nine.
cant be worse than Horry.
5-0 can still contribute.
thoughts?

He probably could... For whatever that's worth...
If not for that bad back.....
He was a tremendous athlete and he could still do something out there even with a bad back.
DR was my favorite player and the reason that I became a Spurs fan. He had the perfect ending written to his script. Why on earth would you want to write a sequel just to see him "contribute" as a s of his former self? You're just being selfish now. Just let me remember #50 as he was please.![]()
Five Oh is way smarter than Jordan. He'll never come back. He has his family to raise and the Carver to oversee.
It was fun watching him during the all star break, but he's hugely out of shape. I don't know how useful he could be, particularly since back problems don't really go away.
Perfect.....as a mentor for Ian Mahinmi.
Not gonna happen.
Basketball was not his main love, and I bet life for him is better, in his mind, than it was any time during he was playing. Probably in less pain, no training camp, no back to back late nights while flying.
Pipe dream. Hes gone. Move on.
He would be a s of his old self... it would be kinda sad seeing him struggle out there and just sitting on the bench for most games.
5-0 is going to be elected to the HOF in just a few months....
He can come back after that![]()
16 year old son? can the kid ball? perhaps he is our future franchise Big Man in waiting........
Since his dad didn't grow to NBA size until after he was in college, I think we'll have to wait a while before we find out.
How about bringing 5-0 a new back?
Who the calls him "five-0"? Unless you call him by his actual name the ONLY other name anyone is allowed to call him is "The Admiral". SHOW SOME ING RESPECT!
Everyone calls him five 0.
Chill out.
Shame on you young sir. Have you no honor? I declare bad form upon you and your family.

Uh yeah, ok.
Most of his teammates called him that. AJ still calls him that. Before you ascend to your position as chief of the respect police you might try to learn a little about your team.![]()
How the could you possibly know that? Unless you spend most of your day researching and studying the chemistry and relationships of past Spurs teams.
I hear that Gervin guy isn't doing much these days. Maybe he can slip into our swing rotation.
