still shaq
According to Channing Frye it's Oden...
Mike Barrett: "You came back from Vegas where you worked with the US team, and I remember you sat down with me after you had just played with Greg, and you said, "That is a beast," and you'd been playing with Dwight Howard and Amare Stoudemire."
Channing Frye: "Oh... I'm going to tell you this, and somebody may disagree with me. He's the strongest guy in the league right now. Hands down. As a twenty year old guy, he is the strongest guy in the league..."
Mike Rice: "...And he's gotten stronger."
Channing Frye: "Yes, and he's gotten stronger, and I think what's going to help him is being around guys that know what's going to be good for him, so once he establishes, "Okay, this is how I'm going to play..." You know, Greg, he can hit that ten to twelve foot jumper. Now if you're going to play him that close, who're you going to... I mean, I'm excited about next year, man, so hopefully, you know, everything is going to work out and I'm going to continue to stay here, you know, because you never know what's going to happen, so that's why I'm here...
Danny Fortson is pretty damn strong. I've actually never seen someone that could be that much shorter and actually keep Shaq from moving around. Unfortunately his short size allowed Shaq to go right over the top, but Shaq always seemed to have issues with actually moving Fortson around.
It will be interesting to see Oden vs Shaq.
Shaq has enough pride to bust Oden's ass at least one game.
Call me crazy, but I haven't seen Oden play much in the NBA yet. I bet he gets tired after an 82 game season just like every other player does.
oddly enough, i hear that he can bench like 315 or something ridiculous like that, and is ing strong as .
lol, 135 lbs
that's cuz of his tiny little t-rex arms, he doesn't have to push the bar that far.
Dwight Howard?
pound for pound - definitely.
He doesn't count. That's like talking about the strength of rhinoceros beetles, ants, etc.
I'd like to see Oden next year against Shaq, Yao and Dwight Howard.
Too bad Greg Oden showed signs of stupidity during his year off, he looks so wise!
He will get in foul trouble so often.
Oddly enough, that is a great analogy.
Ben Wallace is strong, but even though he held shaq in check for years, shaq is stronger. I would venture to say, right now, D-Howard is the strongest.
