Josh Howard/Filler for Paul Pierce?
So just in time for his basketball camp to begin (where prices were slashed), Josh Howard puts up an apology on his website...

....and in there he apologizes for using poor judgement in talking to the media about his pot use. Not sorry for smoking pot, deliberately breaking team rules right in the coach's face, and playing like dog .....no, he's sorry for talking to the big mean media.

I don't think he ever once said that he expects apologies. He just said some people misunderstood what he was saying and apologized for thinking he is some bad guy from the weed smoking issue, which he is not.
"Josh, tell me how my ass taste. ."
He made a point of showing that there's people out there apologizing to him. If he really wants to show he's sorry, then he needs to keep his damn mouth shut and not say anything about it. And if he does say anything, he needs to quit trying to minimize what he did. And finally, if he's going to go through the effort of making an official apology, it would help if he apologized for the right things.
Everything Josh Howard has done this offseason gives me no indication that he has learned anything or is truly sorry for anything. He did it all to save face for his basketball camp.
I don't think there is anything Howard can say or do to please people like yourself. The only thing he can do is play his ass off for the Mavericks and have a good year. Unfortunately who knows if even that will be enough for the nitpickers.
If he shows up in the 4th quarter for the first time in his career I'd be willing to cut him some slack.
