The Austin Toros are hosting a Draft Party in Austin Thursday June 26th from 6 pm to 9 pm at Third Base Sports Bar from 6 pm to 9 pm. It is located off of 6th and Mopac Light appetizers will be served and there will be drink specials going on. The Austin Toros Staff, Dancers, and other guests will be in attendance.

Of course they are throwing a party, we'll no doubt draft duds who will play for the Toros for the next 2 years... great reason to celebrate.... for the Toros.
According to the email I recieved from the Toros mailing list, he will be there. (Sorry, no link.)

hsxvvd's hate can't deflate my enthusiasm, I have been looking forward to this. What I really want to know is where I can find a tee shirt that has the 'Austin' logo with the 'u' as a Spur like the one Da Bull has on his jersey (without that pesky #1.) That way I can let all those confused Austinite's who are Mavs and Rockets fans know where their city's loyalties officially lie. I'm so tired of Spurs haters at the Rec.
Now, the more I think about it, I hope we get Hibbert. Or CDR. Those are our two best options, unless a freak prospect such as Greene falls to us.
Just call the Toros office 512-236-8333 and they can probably sell or give you a shirt. They sold them at the Toros games this year.
The turnout was actually really great last night. Some former Longhorn baseball and football players showed up as well as Cheyne Gadson and Darvin Ham..and of course Da Bull and the Capital City Dancers.
No Dos Equis girls though.

Almost sorry I missed it -- the draft was interminable, but it would have been nice to see Cheyne. Poor guy had to tape his own ankles near the end of the season in Albuquerque.
Cheyne is going to be in Vegas for the summer league. Still not sure what team though.
