The only abusing i really saw was Alexander abusing Green but Batum obviously isnt polished on the defensive end.

Exactly, joe is a flat out beast. Batum obviously needs improving physically, but that can be worked on.

i've been following this forum for the spurs draft and i thought you guys might want to see part of batum's workout with the blazers. i'm not completely sold on batum because he looks very raw and lacks maturity, making him unable to contribute in the near future. in this video, his defenders force him to take a few awkward shots.

Yeah, those videos aren't too flattering of Batum. He had no shot against Alexander. He obviously needs to get stronger to survive in the NBA defensively -- but that's not surprising considering how young he is.

His jumper has nice form and he seems at least willing to compete. Like CDR, I'd say Batum is more of an "in game" player rather than a workout wonder. When I've watched him play, I actually like his passing the best. Good court vision and makes the smart pass.
