The Spurs sent an e-mail to every team in the league at 3:30 p.m. saying that they were willing to move the 26th pick. The e-mail asked league executives to "E-mail us your interest and your offers to 26."
That's the first time I've heard of something like this in all of my years covering the draft.
where did you hear this?
What the FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Probably trading out of the first round or a future pick since they couldn't trade up.
Damn.
It's like they're trying to get rid of a in Virtual Boy.
26 is still a good spot to be.....pleease let this not be true
A weird way of covering a leak.

thanks for the link.
I dont know what the the spurs are doing now.
Maybe Portland will give us Webster or Outlaw for it!!!!!!!!!!!1
i found it.
wtf!
Wtffffffffffffff
ROFL. Misinformation in full effect.
You guys act as if gauging any predraft interest in a pick is strange and unusual.
actually, youre probably right, another smoke screen to secure batum?
They're just showing how richer they are, that's all.
Desperate to get everyone to think they have no set plans.
I can only hope.
Sounds like another smokescreen but it would be just like the Spurs to trade out of the first round for a future pick instead. Take a Marcus Williams type player with the 45th and draft and stash with the 57th.
I'm getting a sick feeling in my stomach.
Maybe (hopefully) they've already lined up a lower pick but have kept it under wraps.
WTF? The Spurs should have made a move earlier if they wanted something good. Most of the purchasing has been complete ... and Paul Allen has already bought his late first round pick.
Hopefully this is misinformation to lead teams away from their scent. If not, the Spurs FO has officially regressed back to elementary school.
"OMG, something just came up lol. Lemme know what you want for 26. THX. TTYL."
