I like how everyone here knows better than the GM of a 4 time NBA Championship team.

A slow 6-1 shooting guard. Just what we need.

    Don't curse in the les.
Only tim deserves a lifetime exemption from suckage. The rest including RC are all held to the same standard, what have u done for me lately. Otherwise, malik and horry would still be on the roster.

He's a great GM, but he's not perfect

So much for that young wing player. What is really more important.. a backup PG who might not even be TP's backup, or a young wing player?

    ing gay.

Why wouldn't he back up TP? I don't see any other PGs on the roster that are worth a damn.

A wing player was/is more important.

Pop and RC better have seen something from this guy if he tried out for them. Does anyone know if he did? If not, why would you take someone from East Bumble State University? His top compe ion was probably dudes that were Junior College rejects. WTF??!?!?!?!

Maybe, but there are more options for wing players in the free agent market.

What the heck do you know about George Hill? Did you work him out personally? How do you know he "sucks"? I trust the Spurs know much better than all the GM wannabes in this forum. The guy can play both guard positions, defends well, and most importantly he can score!! That fills a big need for us.

    I'm good with this pick.

I would've taken a chance on Arthur, the guy is just what the doctor ordered. But, we'll have to wait and see how this goes down. It's a pick that doesn't make sense to me. Unless they had their hearts set on Batum or Anderson. Who knows what these guys are thinking.

I would have rather them sold the pick for a bag of chips and some salsa.

How long is RC going to get a pass for his drafts because of Tony and Manu...

I can't believe I waited this long for George Hill...an undersized, turnover-prone guard.

It's not that I know anything about him, but there were several guys who have played in big time compe ion and done well, Roberts, Chalmers, Arthur. I got my fingers crossed, but I just see the Spurs either trading this guy or letting him go before the season starts.

I'm pretty sure RC and POP know more about evaluating players and player situations better than any of us so I'll reserve judgement until later.

At 6-1 he played shooting guard in the junior college circuit. He has never played the point and he is too short to play the 2 spot. He is way slow by NBA standards and would readily be available in the seocnd round. This is a brick pick. Maybe he can make sure everybody gets plenty of water.

This is as bad as Alferdrick Hughes. Sometimes the Spurs want to prove they are so smart they're stupid.
