I start to think that it's not such a bad pick as a lot of teams passed on cdr or chalmers

Sure, we are going to see a slow 6-1 shooting guard for small college beable to play D on NBA level point guards. Yeah, that makes all the sense in the world.

Yes. Because George Hill will stop CP3.
He has a 6'9 wingspan and from what I've read he plays stubborn D. How do you know he won't without him playing a minute in the NBA?

I don't know who this guy is.
The sensible at ude is just to STFU, wait and see what he will do with Spurs before calling him a awful or a great pick.

    Your an idiot.

    We're talking about c in p3.

    Bruce Bowen couldn't stop him..

TP couldn't stop him. The only way for him to even try to limit CP3 was to outplay him on the offensive end.

I think I'm going crazy if I see people writing that George Hill will STOP CP3.

Why not? Did you ever think you would see a 37 year old undrafted journeyman be able to shut down the best player on the opposing team night in night out?

Lol, I wonder how some of these guys were also reacting when we took in Tony Parker, remembering that at that time Gilbert Arenas was still in the board.

why not pick devon hardin? they had us picking him in the first round a couple of months back. we dont need somebody who isnt gonna contribute immediately, we have 3 players under 30. matt bonner is one of those. oberto is absolutely worthless, hardin is a much more skilled center who can actually play some kind of defense, another thing Aragorn lacks.

Uh.. last time I checked... Bowen usually does.

But please. Keep thinking your weak little second round talent is the next coming of a defensive stopper.

Hill is not a bad pick, but I read in the nbadraftnet that he broke his foot and is now playing with screws in it, that is a little worrisome

Hey well since Pop and RC are so much smarter than us 'internet GMs' I"m sure they'll have plenty of playing time ready for Splitter when he plays for us next year....oh wait, he isn't? Oh because he used the Spurs FO so he could get a better contract overseas? Oh OK. Well at least we have Marcus Williams from last year to be a good role player....what we don't? Oh damn. What about all those other foreign players we drafted from 2000 -2007 that had so much 'upside'? Oh they play in Europe...oh ok.

Sometimes it's ok to say that RC and Pop SUCK at something. Yes yes, they got Manu and TP right but WHAT ELSE???? Let me answer that....NOTHING. They are lucky that Timmy can carry anybody to a Championship. They should build a statue to him right now in front of the AT&T Center.
