He had another year of eligibility left. Early on in the draft process, most expected him to return for his final year. He ended up staying in. Was that due to a promise? Can't say for sure but it'd make sense.

If stating my opinion in threads that contain a topic I have an opinion about is a temper tantrum, than I guess I had it wrong all along. I should have just read and moved on because overposting is considered bad around these parts and god forbid your posts span a certain number of inexcusable hours.
