On the positive side, it was good publicity for their new Ichabod Crane ride.
Six Flags over Philly?
i learned that people from philadelphia dont know when to shut up... they talk and talk and talk... i had a 15 minute conversation at an airport with a dude from philly about how expensive beer at airports was... i dont think ive had a 15 minute conversation in my life that was just me nodding my head and saying "yeah" "damn" and occasionaly smirking.
My ex's dad, a Philly native, was the same way. The dude was so turned on by the sound of his own voice, he would spend half an hour telling you about the goddamn water filter he bought for his sink. And then he'd tell the same story to the next person to come around.
Damn that's the first thing I thought of. The second was The Happening that I just saw tonight.![]()
^^^
Now that movie sucked....
I'm sick and tired of the stunts Warner Brothers are pulling in order to promote the Dark Knight movie.
they might just settle outta court for some head....
Yeah, cuz WB gave Heath Ledger that Ambien prescription and made him take excessive amounts of it so that his tolerance for the drug reached toxic levels.![]()
i was so scared during the my last trip to six flags looking up at the super man tower of power....not scared of the ride itself but just the sheer magnitude of everything that could go wrong
and then you see the teenage kids who are operating these giants over the summer and think to yourself, is this really who I want operating this 20 ton machine?.....stay classy DF-doublya....stay classy
you must live in fear of a load of things.
That's wrong...
Yes. I skipped the roller coasters and just went on the water rides.![]()
Way to make generalizations!

I despise making small talk with strangers and I am a Philadelphian.
Oh boy, I can hardly wait to share this story with my 14 yr old. Last summer at Fiesta Texas, he and another knuckle dragger decided to climb out their car on that race track to "retrieve something". There was an "Emergency Stop" called on that section of the park and if I hadn't been on the premises they would have been ejected from the park. So now he has a file on record there and is banned from that ride for life. Of course while he was grounded for 2 weeks with hard labor, he didn't understand why "everyone makes such a big deal out of nothing"! Freaking genius!!![]()
With my previous expirence as a Medic at SF, SF is NOT gonna pay anything.
After the rides are closed, park staff go and retrieve lost items and have them taken to lost and found at the park entrance...unless the item falls into the water. Then they are S.O.L.
This wouldn't have happened if he had a good head on his shoulders.
Whether this kid was gonna live thru the the rest of his life was truly a coin toss, i'll go with heads..
