Synopsis...
There are heroes. There are superheroes. And, then there's Han . With great power comes great responsibility--everyone knows that--everyone, that is, but Han . Edgy, conflicted, sarcastic and misunderstood, Han 's well-intentioned heroics might get the job done and save countless lives, but always seem to leave jaw-dropping damage in their wake. The public has finally had enough--as grateful as they are to have their local hero, the good citizens of Los Angeles are wondering what they ever did to deserve this guy. Han isn't the kind of man who cares what other people think--until the day that he saves the life of PR executive Ray Embrey, and the sardonic superhero begins to realize that he may have a vulnerable side after all. Facing that will be Han 's greatest challenge yet--and a task that may prove impossible as Ray's wife, Mary, insists that he's a lost cause.

Now this looks like it has true potential. It will be good to get away from these overrated comic book movies heading into a true hero type movie. What interests me is it looks REAL. As in, not the typical American hero saves the day junk. This movie looks to be really great, or an epic fail. The previews look awesome however. Especially the one where the throws the whale into the ocean, lands on the boat and the guy in the water goes on about how he got the footage.
You need to post ASAP and get that 666 off your post count. -shivers-
A spoiler? Sort of.
Charilize Thereon (sp) plays the wife of the PR executive that Han saves. Then later on the wife and hans and have an affair behind his only friends back.
Just finished seeing this movie..pretty good movie..
had some funny parts
You watch way too much porn, dude.
bootleg?
I'm afraid I'm suffering from Will Smith overload. I'll wait for the DVD---maybe.
I didn't think that was possible...

It looks pretty stupid to me. Maybe I just don't like the way Will Smith is playing the character, from the previews i've seen. I'll probably end up getting bored and seeing it anyways...
I have a friend who works at the palladium..so we get to go to the employee screenings..
Planning to see it tonight.
from the previews it looks like this Han character is so much the "I don't give a " type that Wil Smith also "didn't give a " about his acting![]()
I enjoyed the trailers, but the reviews aren't good...
Anyone see this last night?
This movie looks stupid.
Will Smith is an overrated actor.
You know you have a Men In Black poster.
that .
But, I did like that movie. It had to do more with Tommy Lee Jones than with Will Smith.
I don't really think Will Smith is rated higher than "decent actor that makes fun movies"
I don't think anyone is comparing him to Tracy or Newman.
He gets paid like he's Black Jesus.
He hasn't made a real good movie since Six Degrees of Seperation.
I thought the movie started strong but slowly got weaker as it went on. It was a good movie but not one of the movies that you have to see this summer. If you want to see a really good movie this weekend try to catch "Iron Man" if you can and if not see "Wall-E."
If you cant get into those go see Han .
