It may have more to due with the fact that I don't believe in magic, but who the knows?
But, I guess she could have had eye surgery where they took her dark brown (almost black) eyes and plopped them out of her eye sockets and connected her optic nerves to a new pair of green eyes.

Dude, have you never heard of something called "colored contacts?" A LOT of people, specifically women, wear them.
Yes we know there exists color contacts......but there isnt a contact that can take a jet black eye and turn it an extremely light colored hazel. It just changes the tone of the dark eye......it will not lighten the whole lens.

Neither one are "jet black". Perhaps you two are speaking from a darker place. Like inside of each others arses.
