To be fair Hill hit his first jumper from outside. He's had to rush the shot clock once and the other miss escapes me.
It's clear they have asked him to be a set up man, he's passed up several jumpers to break down the D and/or set up Ian inside.

Gist is looking like a nice bench energy guy who can come in and play some D, block some shots and energize the team and crowd.
Spurs need to not run the motion offense every time up the court.

Does anyone else remember going to UTSA to watch Spurs practice in DRob's rookie season ? I remember watching the Midwest Rookie Revue when we hosted it and watching Willie Anderson and Vernon Maxwell going at each other in practice.
The speed and skill of NBA athletes (up close) is incredible.
His bagery is sure to catch on somewhere, probably eastern europe or russia.
