Hill went 2-9 from the floor. Only one assist, but he penetrated well and got others some open looks.

This was the most I've seen of Mahinmi and I thought he played very well. I think he's ready to make our rotation. Not quite starter material just yet.

Didn't see enough of Gist imo. Only 18 minutes. I liked his athleticism and defense.

    Hairston was a bust!

from tonight, Hill, Gist, Ian, Green, and Tolliver all looked good...

Cut Hairston and bring in Green in his place.

I love a guy who can score 17 points on a 2-9 shooting night.
    called winners/scorers.

Pretty decent by George Hill though I didn't see him make his own shot. Mahinmi showed some good moves and decent range. Greene looked pretty comfortable on the court. Gist has a couple of blocks and showed his 3 pt range (may be a nice understudy for Bowen). Tolliver looked decent.

Hairston was a complete no show.

Mayo looked pretty impressive in how he could get his shot up with defense. Arthur seemed pretty agile and had some decent range.
Maybe college 3 point range. That long jumper was a 2.

What an ugly game. A ton of fouls. I think this may be the last summer league game I watch but at least there were some positives... I think.

Again, how do you know anything about Bonner when he doesn't get any PT?
And he never will either, which is why he's worthless to the Spurs, except in trade.

    Send him back to Toronto.

I thought Hill struggled from the FT line, but he finished 12-16 according to NBA.com. So that's good.

not at all. He looks like a lumbering set shot type of player. Green looked much smoother.
Well, one would expect a shooting guard to look smoother than a power forward.

If you expect to see Hill shoot 22% very often your gonna be sadly mistaken and whoever said Hill can't shoot based on one game .. STFU your a bandwagon scrub, and a couch coach

I think he started 3-6. I don't remember him missing one in the second half.

Green and Cuffee took over in crunch time. The only problem with Green is he can't handle the rock..

    But dude is nails!

There is something about Hill that was missing... He definitely can handle the ball, but dude is not flashy and he is terrible at the rim... I guess watching Parker destroy people in the paint has made us all spoiled, hill has a long way to go... a llllllllllllllong way....
