join the army boy....
Ok here's the deal. I need to earn around U$S300 a month on something I can do part time. I was thinking maybe something online that I could do from home. You see, I already have a part time job, but its not enough to cover rent AND tuition, its one or the other. My area of study isn't particularly useful in terms of online jobs, except maybe that I can use Premier and Photoshop at an intermediate level. I'm currently studying Cinematography.
I realize this is probably a pipe dream, but it would really save my ass to be able to work from home. Anyone have any ideas?
join the army boy....
that's not part time now, is it? besides, I live in Argentina, our army is ing useless
Seriously now, I need helpful suggestions, please.
start slangin
Come on man. I'm being serious. I'm officially ed if I don't find a way to earn enough for tuition.
you could be a mule instead.
I think an opportunity from a reputable US-based company would probably require you to provide proof of work authorization in the US (green card, social security number, etc). There could be some opportunities without requiring the above, but it'd be a risk to get involved IMO.
I'm just guessing, maybe I'm wrong.
No existe nada en Argentina para trabajar on-line o desde casa?
Good Luck.
You could also look at ads placed on Craigslist around the world looking for jobs that require graphic/image design that can done on a computer at home and transfered via email and paid thru paypal.
Craigslist.com
Monster.com (register and make a resume- all free)
You have to dig and search.
There's not much, and the little there is doesn't pay enough for me to be able to afford tuition. Normal salary for anything part time is around 800 to 1500 pesos or US$500, depending on the job. That's for around 5 to 6 hours of work, and not from home. Any job online or from home here doesn't pay more than 600 pesos or US$200, and even then most are for web designers, programmers, etc. Unfortunately, I'm neither of those.
Again, I realize it may be a stretch to ask, but if there is even a small opportunity of finding a job online, I had to ask.
That's interesting. What would it entail?
If I had to guess, I'd say entering data.
I found this ad on Craiglist.

Anybody know what a Remote Admin Assistant is?
From what I know, some posters on here have done Data Entry. I think I remember a thread where S y and some other poster said they have done it before. But it is basically that you work from home inputting various types of data -- insurance billing, patient information etc.. for a company who provides employment for people to work at home by work using their computer to work on the company's website or software. You might want to ask any posters if they have had experience with it and can give you more info.
Here's a link that is helpful:

Don't be fooled by some sites who claim to have easy work home oppurtunities but are scammers, they are rampant now-a-days.
Yeah, no ... I meant what kind of data? in the sense that if it requires programming I'm not really qualified to do it.
Will check it out. Thanks for the help Sherlock, its truly appreciated.
Admin assistants usually just do all the computer work for the boss (emaling, typing up reports, and other papers, making copies, running errands) since it's remote, I guess you would do all of that on your computer at home. I've always tried to apply for these jobs in the past, but I've never got one, it's usually on the basis of I don't have any job experience regarding that position, but it's usually just simple things that anybody can do, and that alwasy makes me mad.
do you have any Puyerredon (sp?) blood running through your veins?
seriously, just find your local drug lord, swallow a bunch of condoms, take a fun plane ride, the condoms all out, and get in paid. easy ass job.
S y, does not do data entry. S y does accounting and works for family. She just happens to live in a different state and telecommutes.
As for medical insurance billing, you have to know the codes. I'm pretty sure you need to take classes for that. If you don't code right, it will get bounced back.
Sherlock needs to go back to sleuthing school!
MaNuMaNiAc, got a job for you. PM me.
