I'm sorry, but I had one of these things yesterday, and they were pretty good.
Oh, and one more thing: Antawn Jamison requested a trade because he didn't want to come off the bench anymore. The Mavericks got their 6th man replacement in Stackhouse, they opened up the small forward spot for Josh Howard, who can play D while Jamison can't...and they received the draft rights to Devin Harris. You can criticize the Mavs for fulfilling Jamison's request, or you can criticize them for giving up on a decent, young player that was inconsistent and injury-prone, but you can't do both.
I'm sorry, but I had one of these things yesterday, and they were pretty good.
That's a bannable offense, I hope you know.
If you like that , keep it to yourself.
Try it. I'm telling, it felt good after a horrible weekend (stupid Rockets need to get their together).
The KFC bowl is always a soothing balm for crushing disappointment. And just scroll past my smack posts towards Scolarules. He's a that deserves to have the Rockets struggles rubbed in his face, but you deserve better.
LOL
I know KFC is about all the Mav's fans can handle. Sloppy seconds after the nuggets slide off your face and the drool hits the table.
Nooooo OMG you're doomed now. A Rockets fan ate a Dallas Mav's lunch.
Get the drool buckets out now!
bump
This post is hilarious now with my new team, avatar and sig.
lol
Somebody also forgot to mention how dumbass Cuban turned down a Dirk for Kobe Bryant trade. Man, the Mav fans in this thread are so damn emo![]()
Kobe was never seriously on the table. Just posturing to shut Kobe the up.
Yes he was, Mark Cuban even admitted it on a Dallas sports radio station with Randy Galloway. (which makes Cuban even more of a dumbass, because why would you admit to that stupidity.)
Cuban said Lakers were willing to move Kobe for Dirk..Cuban was the one that turned it down, not the Lakers brass (him and Dirk are butt buddies)...
If you don't think Kobe was on the table at the beginning of the season (when he was crying to be traded and bashing teamates in mall parking lots) you need to snap back to reality, because he was.

YOU PAL!
The reason why nobody brought it up is because that never happened, stick.
You're making that up, wad. The Lakers were NEVER going to trade Kobe until this summer if he was still unhappy, since he can opt out of his contract next summer. Kobe's leverage would be at a max right now if he were still unhappy. Their plan was to ride it out and once the Lakers got off to a good start and the Grizzlies gifted them Gasol, Kobe's concerns were mollified.
The idea that the Lakers were going to move Kobe for Dirk last summer is a myth. You got the audio of Cuban saying something different? Post it. Otherwise you're completely full of .
bull , T-Mac is a total ing loser, Nowitzki has an MVP numerous playoff series victories, and a WC Championship to prove he's leaps and bounds ahead of T-Mac in work ethic, want-to, and leadership.
T-Mac is a pile of .
Tmac doesn't deserve to be on. Most of the time in the playoffs, he's been on the lesser team, so I don't know how you can fault a guy for that.
That said, Dirk > Tmac.
yeah that Rocket Fan is full of . Cuban was on with Grandpa Urine and said they wouldn't trade Dirk for Kobe IF there was an offer. He was responding to the RUMORS of a Dirk-Kobe trade, he NEVER said that trade was on the table.
whether or not he was telling the truth is another story...but Cuban never confirmed that the trade was actually offered.
Cuban would be pretty ing stupid to come out and say that he would trade Dirk for Kobe if given the chance. You don't throw your franchise player under the bus like that. We all know the reality is that if it were on the table, you tip your cap to Dirk and thank him for his 10 years of service and do the deal, but you don't publicly discuss trading your players like that. It's just common sense.
You would think Cuban would make that trade but I am not convinced.
It's academic anyway because the Lakers never seriously considered trading Kobe. They waited him out and it worked.
Here's the other angle that T and Luther misses: Kobe made it known that he wanted to go to Chicago, Phoenix or Dallas. He has a no-trade clause in his contract, and he also made it clear he wasn't coming here to play with Jason Terry and Josh Howard. If he was coming here at all, it was to play WITH Dirk.
Even IF Cuban signed off on that trade, Kobe would've vetoed it. Mavs don't deserve a single iota of criticism for failing to make this happen:

Damn,he looks nice in White and Blue
WAKE UP, mav fans....
Kobe Bryant will never, ever wear a Dallas uniform!!
