When timvp called me out about Marcus Williams a couple of days ago, I could have made a as lame answer as his attack like : look at the stats of "the best FA signing since Bowen".
I haven't decided to go that way and Marcus Williams, thanks to insane talent, owned timvp for me.

Not hyping Willimas just thought it was interesting. He satarted out as SG with Thorton at small forward. Thorton only got about 15 minutes though (? hurt). Don't know if Williams was moved to PF or where he did his damage.

I've watched both of his games and they use him down low with Fazekas and Thornton on the perimeter. He can actually rebound versus bigger players and he can score close to the basket. The problem is he has to play on the perimeter in the NBA ... and I haven't seen perimeter talent out of him yet.

I'm hoping Williams has a good NBA career because that would mean the Spurs' scouts were right. I don't think he will but I hope I'm wrong.

too bad we couldnt stash him on the toros AND hold his rights... if he continues to be consistent and continues to improve he could have been apart of our youth movement..

He's playing out of position, and is able to capitalize off the talent that he's facing. He couldn't play that position in the NBA and have much success. I'm glad that he's doing well; hopefully he can turn that into a camp invite from someone that could use him.

As I recall Clips had to give up rights to Williams and Fazekas so they can both be picked up by other teams.
