Youre just coming off stupid.
Blazers would be my second favorite team if they took Durant last year and D.J. Augustin this year to go along with Aldridge. Get the picture?

C'mon Mavs, let's Portland's cap situation
If your team is a hole,it might as well go down being a hole while being an asshole and ing up other teams.
Darius freaking Miles? Seriously?
Fire Donnie.

whats so bad about that? hes a fairly young athletic player that can come off the bench and score some points and give the team lots of energy on both ends of the court. if he is really healthy and can get back to the level he was before his injury, he would be a very nice backup to have at SF. if they plan on using him as a starter or something though... then yes, the AIDS thing is fine with me![]()
Just a guess, but they might move JHo to SG, and start Miles.
I am not sure Miles is up to it, but he had potential like the Candyman and Gerald Green at one time.
or maybe Miles won't start, but they'll use some lineups with him at the 3 and Josh at the 2?
He could also replace Bass if we traded him (not sure who for, just figured the Bass/Stack package might be shopped around if Sacramento doesn't bite...)
There is no effing way that Miles can be effective over the course of an entire season. NO EFFING WAY! The dude is a pos and will totally screw the team chemistry wherever he goes as well.
Not to mention he screws up your cap situation where he goes as well.
I didn't want to mention that.
For the vet minimum, you got a problem with that? We still have an open roster spot, and we get to Portland in the process. It's worth signing him and never playing him just for that.
Just another sign that the Mavs FO doesn't get it. They're trying to fill out the back of the roster when the front of the roster is where all the problems are.
Darius Miles or no, this is still a 45-55 win team that guaranteed won't get past the 2nd round, and it's doubtful they'll even get past the 1st.
Nobody wants the front of our roster if it's not named Dirk, Josh or Bass. This team has no cap space and a dearth of draft picks. They should just hit the reset button and start trying to clear space for 2010.
He has to play in at least 10 games for him to count against our cap. And he will already be suspended for the 1st 10 games due to a drug test violation.
Yeah, I saw that. Still, for the vet minimum, it's a nice way to throw salt in Portland's game.
that means he'll only have 72 chances to get into 10 games after that.
As bad as we suck, we will still have blowouts where we can give him garbage minutes.
All this over a team who didn't and won't make the playoffs.
bump
