Every review that I have read critic and user review alike all have given this an A, the lowest grade I have seen for it is a B-.

This movie was badass.
I figured Heath Ledger's performance was going to be overhyped...it wasn't. He was awesome and deserves every bit of the praise he is getting. He was the best Joker ever.
Also amazing and someone I haven't seen being given much credit is Aaron Eckhart as Two Face. He also was excellent in his role and I think his role was probably the most difficult to pull off in that movie. He had to make the change from hero to psychopath in the course of this movie and I think he was brilliant in that transformation. And he never stopped being believable at any point.
Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman were excellent as they were in the first...
And Gary Oldman's transformation into Commissioner Gordon, as it was in the first movie. is just uncanny, he is Jim Gordon. IF you have ever read the comic he looks exactly like him, he acts exactly like him...and what's amazing is out of character Gary Oldman bears no resemblance whatsoever to Gordon.
As for Maggie Gyllenhaal, she wasn't supposed to be a beauty queen, it was her character that made her attractive and I think she played the part well.
Ironically enough. I think Christian Bale got overshadowed in this move by his supporting cast.
Yeah. I mean he was every bit as bad-ass as he was in the first, but with the new characters being introduced (and doing such a magnificent job), he did end up getting overshadowed a bit.
Heath Ledger did the best acting job as a villain in any movie I have ever seen.
God, Monday can NOT get here fast enough.
I disagree I think they resemeble each other pretty well.
