Not only do you have to come up with salaries to match Artest's salary, Sacramento is insisting you take Kenny Thomas' contract as well so that is something like 16 mill in salaries you have to come up with. Sacramento is turning down deals that are better than a bunch of scrubs we could piecemeal together.
If you want to trade for him, one of the big three would have to be included. Unless Manu has a career ending injury in Bejing, I wouldn't do it.
has anyone heard of a MULTI-TEAM trade?
I'm not saying we have a chance of pulling that off, but it seems no one on here has thought of the possibility of a multi-team deal.
That could solve the problem of having to match salaries. Just get another team to send a player or two over there+whatever we send(and maybe a draft pick).
Those deals are complicated, but it can be done.

some teams don't have to be looking for talent.
I'd imagine alot of teams are looking for expiring contracts, so they can clear up some cap space soon.
If that's the case, we can sign and trade someone like Finley or maybe someone else, and possibly send off another player that might satisfy a team. Draft picks don't hurt either.
