Figures they would pick Thunder. Bandits would have been better.

Should have just gone with Thundercats...might as well
Barons was way better...a 6 year old could come up with thunder.
At least that's another name to the list of teams that don't have s to end it. Utah, Miami and Orlando, now OKC
Oklahoma City Bison doesnt end in S and it can be singular or plural
sounds like a WNBA team...worst than the Bobcats
You know, considering all those "Name the Team" contests, a 6 year old probably DID come up with that!
Bandits, Vultures or Bombers would've been so much more appropriate.
Yeah I agree, at first I wasn't too hot on Barons, but after a while it made sense and was a really great way to put roots down in OKC for the team and the fans.
Thunder?
Christ will the owner wrestle a bear at halftime during the season?
Free Corndogs if they break 125?
Oklahoma City Meth Teeth would also have been geographically appropriate
Names are almost always blasted initially but then get accepted pretty easily.
Just look around the league, there are some stupid team names out there.
This name works great because it rhymes with blunder and "The Oklahoma City Blunder" is a fitting le for this entire episode.
I would have said the trailers and called the arena the trailer park.
Here's the logo.
Hmm...looks like OKC just got its hands on Windows 95 and did some amazing things with the paintbrush program.
omfg that's terrible.
Worst team names in the NBA: 1) Thunder, 2) Wizards, 3) Bobcats
Nah, the Heat pretty much retired that le.
