I think we should keep Bonner and give him consistent minutes and see what he can do. He's instant offense from the bench. He'll help the Spurs during those long scoring droughts.
I really don't trust Bonner's offense when it matters. He also takes too many quick shots.

Do you really think Bonner is ready for substantial and meaningful minutes?

I'm sure that if Parker passed the ball to Horry instead of Manu at the end of game 1 vs Lakers in the 08 WCF, he would have made it.
He really wanted the ball, he looked sure of himself.
And you knowwhat he can do when he's confident
    yep

Did you remember when Pop gave Bonner his minutes, Bonner scored 27! I won't dump Bonner. He probably needs a chance to prove himself.

To answer your question: NOBODY!!! But seriously, what makes you think Bonner can contribute significantly?

Bonner is a stopgap, at best.

Because he can shoot the basketball and hustle a bit.

It's not like the bar is very high after Horry's last season.

    Exactly!

If Bonner hits one (1) shot from the field in the next WCF, it will be an improvement

I actually love his hustle and don't begrudge his lack of consistent offense: it's just that I don't see him giving us quality minutes when it matters. And I think Pop feels the same way.

Pop doesn't have many options either.

    Play him of trade him.

Agreed. Unless he improves dramatically, he should be traded.

Again, I HAVE NO ANSWER!!! The Spurs have a hole in the roster that will probably not be addressed this offseason. This is my point, buddy!

How do you know it will not be addressed?

Again, it's just Horry's hole, so it's not that big a deal most of the season.

So you're comfortable with Bonner getting playoff crunch-time minutes?

I really don't trust Bonner's offense when it matters. He also takes too many quick shots.
I don't like Matt Bonner's shooting form. Like you said it seems he jacks up shots too quick and they can miss/clang badly. Is Bonner's form good enough for a crunch time shot when the pressure is high and he has to release quickly???

Stephen Jackson, Robert Horry, Steve Kerr, players like that have pretty good form. When they can set their feet and take the shot for the win usually even if it doesn't go in it's not way off like some of Bonner's shots are. From what I recall Pop gave Bonner a couple of game winners in the regular season and correct me if I'm wrong, but he wasn't even close was he?
