That this erroneous line of reasoning is not more readily refuted demonstrates the lack of biblical literacy among "Christians." To wit:

Jesus told the apostles they would inherit his teaching authority.
After his ascension, a controversy arose regarding what parts of the Jewish Law Gentile converts to Christianity were expected to uphold.
This controversy was referred to the apostles who convened in a council in Jerusalem, which is chronicled in Acts 15.
At that council, it was determined that the Gentiles should abstain from sexual immorality, from drinking blood, and from eating meat sacrificed to idols.

So the Levitical laws regarding sexual immorality apply to Christians, but none of the other stuff you mentioned does.

Sounds like a bunch of people got together and politicked a solution/compromise. Why would Jesus/God leave such a thread hanging?

So, liberal (or, in fact, revolutionary theology) is only good until the Protestant Reformation happens? Then it's bad?

There are some errors in the thinking of the Protestant Reformers which the liberal apostates have expounded upon, such as the exaltation of reason above faith.

However, the motivations are different. The Protestants rebelled against obvious systemic corruption in the Catholic hierarchy. The liberals decided that science proved historic orthodox Christianity was untrue, and so they developed a new religion which sounded like Christianity but believed totally different things.

The apostles, given teaching authority direct from the Son of God, applied that authority, taking into account what they had been taught.

Liberals decide that everything Christians believed for 1900 years is garbage and make it up as they go along.

I believe the term Rome uses is "impaired communion," at least since Vatican II. Even they draw a line between those with what they would term bad ecclesiology and questionable theology, but who still worship the Trinitarian God and uphold the authority of Scripture, and liberals who redefine the Trinity as "Mother, Daughter, and Feminine Spirit" or who just deny that God exists in any theistic sense whatsoever.

The problem with the Anglican Church is that administratively it never really was set up effectively to be a worldwide communion, and so they've never had a mechanism to excommunicate entire national churches. But it's a moot point now, since Canterbury already approved women bishops.* They'll go down the same road the Americans and Canadians have, and the Global South and the remaining remnant of orthodox will just have to choose whether to have their own "Anglican" community apart from Canterbury, to swim the Tiber or perhaps the Golden Horn, or just to go their separate ways.

*Ah, the ordination of women as pastors/priests/bishops. It seems so harmless, so logical. We all know women functionally can serve as pastors, priests, and bishops. Public speaking? Check. Pastoral care? Usually better than the men, actually. Teaching? Check.

But that move always starts the ball rolling toward complete apostasy. Why is that? Equal opportunity in all other areas of society has been pretty positive.

But once upon a time there was something called the iconographic priesthood...

If only Jesus has referred to himself as the Child of God, of his Parent in Heaven... if only he hadn't been such a chauvinist and assisted upon 12 male apostles, not even moving his followers to select a woman when a slot opened up and his own mother was available. I mean, he was so good about fighting social convention in just about every other area, but deep down I guess he was a misogynist or something. I'm sure if that Schori person could get thirty minutes of his time and explain his errors, Jesus would see the light and submit to her wisdom and authority. Because, really, Jesus, much less the Apostles or the Fathers, can't hold a candle to the wisdom of an Episcopal.

It would be much easier just to conclude that Christianity has been obsoleted by modern society and to drop it. But no, the Episcopals keep pretending...

It condemns that in the Book of Leviticus, which is in the Old Testament. Within the Old Testament, you are given rules on how to treat your slaves, under what cir stances to give your daughter to another man, and are told that women are twice as impure as men. If a woman has given birth, she cannot enter the Church for 33 days, if its a boy. If its a girl, then they must stay out for 66 days. The Old Testament means nothing in regards to how modern society should be run law-wise.

Why would God create a creature in His own image if He wanted it to be condemned? God never sat down at his desk scratching out notes in the first draft of his memoirs, the Bible. Man wrote it. And mankind can be pretty stupid and manipulative.
