Yea for 3 years.
A friend said he just read it on ESPN.
Actually it is for 28mio$ and it would be 41 mio$ if it was in USA (becouse of taxes)
Another Slovenian lost to a non Spurs team. Sigh.
Good for Boki though.Congrats to him.
Start a new cold war with those commi mother ers.
Highest paid player in Europe at the moment, isn't he?
I've got the feeling this isn't over yet. Some russian team is bringing an NBA superstar over and it's gonna happen this year.
It may be an ex-superstar but still.
This does come as surprise. I guess this explains why there were no rumors of NBA teams interested in Boki.
Rumors is it's a three year contract with last year player option, but only if he leaves for NBA.

The funny thing is i planned to change my team from Toronto to whomever signs Nachbar. Now i don't know who to chose this year?
Actually if the European version of the news is correct, Nachbar is getting 13.8M dollars per ONE season after you add the taxes he is not paying. How many players in NBA are better payed than him? lol
That is what I wrote.![]()
Well, then you were wrong and so was I, but I made a different mistake. Go calculate how many USD is 28M euros. 44M, so that is NOT because of the taxes. The difference between 44 and 28 is because... you know... the exchange rate. It's not the same currency.
If you want to add the no-taxes value, you have to multiply the number with something like 1.5 or 1.7.
Anyway, I don't believe that number is correct. Nachbar can't be one of the best payed basketball players on the planet. I mean think about, he would be getting 22M per season, only Garnett gets more.
Those 28M euros are just wrong.
I wonder what the cost of living is in Russia.
For that matter, what about Europe in general?
Where did you read 28 mio Euros???? I wrote 28 mio $$$! And with taxes it is cca 41 mio $ (not EUROs)
It is to different from country to country, well it is different from city to city![]()
I've read 28M euros on one of the Slovenian sites, but it's corrected now. Now that's something I could believe, yes. 13.7M dollars (NBA equivalent) per season. Wow, just wow.
In general food and electronics are a bit more expensive than in USA. However the cost of apartments, houses, rents etc. is considerably lower.
Link to ESPN article:
Ex-Nets F Nachbar, Dynamo Moscow agree to 3-year, $14.3M deal
It is old article. In new one (in all Slovenian sites, where his father explained sign) it is 28 mio$
Wow.
In Russia his money will go considerably further. Now if he lived in Scandinavia he'd be screwed.
First interview... says he didn't want to leave USA and there was "no money that could've persuaded him." However the money they offered him was just too good. Most serious in NBA were Atlanta and Golden State, but when he told them the Russian number, they just "shrugged".
He could've been good in Golden State.
