Man, I've been telling lakers fans for a long time that they should resign Kwame and most of them don't want any parts of him. I think he would be great as Turiaf's replacement and he can not be backed down in the post. I would definitely sign him!

I agree with you. Last few summers there have plenty of role players getting way too much money. This might be slightly more than Sasha's worth, but I think it's reasonable.
I know, I get a lot of flack from that, but if we could sign him for a mill a year, you think that would be a bad move?
Kwame is the all time biggest bust around. That guy sucks.

That would have been a huge blow to lose him after developing him for three years. He's certainly overpaid, but nothing sounds crazy after Diop got MLE.

I was more concerned with the amount of years of the contract. He was talking 5 or 6 year contract in the beginning. I have no problem with the 3 year deal at 5million.
I think so too. Kwame played some of top forwards better than a lot of players in the NBA. He was definitely overpaid, but at 1 or 2 million max, I'd sign him! Just don't pass him the ball on offense.

Of course it's ing reasonable and i think it's worth every penny of the cost. our organization ain't stupid like the warriors and some other ball clubs overpay players like ronny, posey, arenas...etc. great signed by the lakers.
actually word is the lakers are interested in signing kwame. he sucks yes we all know. but hes a big strong body that plays position d pretty well. he can replace turiaf's minutes. if the lakers can have him for about 2-3 mil i dont think its too bad a deal. all u need is like 10-12 min a nite
as far as the sasha signing. i think this means the laker are going to move walton or vlad along with odom. if not they are in the lux tax and this contract will basically cost the lakers 3 years 30 mil.
odom for artest marion and wallace rumors are everywhere and i think the lakers would insist that those teams take luke and vlad's contract if a deal is to be done.
