I'll let the video speak for itself.
i have not bought a gallon of milk in years.
That's not really the issue.
The entire purpose of McCain's stop to the grocery store was to show that he understands that people are having a hard time buying essentials (groceries, gas, etc.). How effective is that argument if it appears that he has no idea what these things cost?
It's not that big of a deal, but just another flub in what was a terrible week for McCain.
so obama isout ing around overseas, mccain spends time getting to know his people and it was aterrible week.
im going to laugh my ass off when obamaloses
I am going to laugh my ASS off in January no matter who wins because conservaties lose either way....![]()
Yes. Being a diplomat is such a waste of a presidential candidates' time.
they're not voting for him.
Yes, the sentiment that goes along with Bush, "They aren't us, so they don't matter."
Brilliant logic. I mean, why would we want someone who can increase our respect overseas? Why would we want someone that other countries would be willing to work with?
Yeah, it doesn't make sense. You're right.![]()
At least he knows the price of a bag of fries.
Yes, but McCain had JUST WALKED THROUGH THE SUPERMARKET.
Isn't the point of spending a day shopping for groceries with a middle-class family to show that he understands what we're going through in terms of financial troubles? How is it possible that he "gets it", if he's not paying enough attention to walk all the way through a store without looking at (or caring to remember) the price we're paying for necessary items?
Milk prices isn't an issue. But McCain is out of touch and forgetful on a lot of important issues.
Do you really want to play the "who stutters and looks like a completely lost idiot more on national TV" game? Because we can do that. It would be fun.
McCain is a fool. I don't give a about him. So please give us some laughs
I only find the above funny because so many drool over his speaking abilities. It really has nothing to do with anything of importance just like the milk video grasping for anything to bash the old guy on.
Respect your elders.

Big deal, he didn't know the price of milk <and yeah, I know, "but he just came out of the milk aisle!">, you're "stuck on stupid" if you interpret that as being out of touch.
If he said something along the lines of "we're not in a recession", or "Americans are not struggling economically", then yeah, he's out of touch, but that's clearly not the case.
This is newsworthy only to those that are mesmerized by sensationalism
Sorry, what was he doing in the grocery store, again? Attempting to show that he understands what families are going through? Kind of tough when you have to look at cue cards to know what you're talking about. That's like an animal activist going to a zoo to show how poorly the animals are being treated and needing to have people hold up signs so they remember that the orange thing with black stripes is a tiger. It tends to take the credibility from the event.

confused, eh?
last i checked he was running for president of the unitedstates...not president of the un.
This place is getting boring with such idiotic threads.
It will get worse at election day approaches. In 2004, Kori had to come in and moderate briefly because in the weeks leading up to election day, people were starting threads for every talking point issued by the Kerry/Bush campaign. In a given day, there would be twenty or so new threads, with one or two comments each.
Oh, come on, it's hilarious. NTURNET SRS BIZNESS.
I paid like 4.25 for a gallon of milk the other day, s pretty ridiculous.
