I almost died from a gallbladder incident.

Make no mistake--this is one really sick feeling. I was in the hospital for 11 days before they diagnosed it. They ripped it out the following days.

Doctors I have spoken to since then have stated that was way too long for a diagnosis and I was about 24-48 hours before death.

Great lawsuit against the Medhodist Hospital--but really messed up for me. I had last rites because I was so sick.

And yes--they give you a photo of the gall bladder after the surgery--mine did not show a version being sliced open (Thank God).

They told me that I need to consume more bran, vegetables, etc.

Do it--you do not want that sick feeling. I was vomiting non-stop for nearly 24 hours. They had tubes going from my nose into my stomach to bump out the stuff making me sick. I was totally sick as a dog and wanted to die--anything to stop the sickness.

Take it from me--

When they tell you to consume more grains and veggies--take them seriously--very seriously.

I decided to write here even though this thread started out as a humorous one. Nothing funny about nearly dying from a gall bladder problem.
