I can't even remember the point guards drafted this year much less project how well each of them is going to play in the first half of the season, but I still know that playing backup to Tony Parker is not going to net you a lot of minutes nor give you much opportunity to fill out the stat sheets on a nightly basis...
Even if Hill is head and shoulders better than any other point guard drafted this year, another rookie on a team that has to give him minutes at point will have a far better chance of making the rookie challenge than Hill.

that depends, i dont see him getting enough minutes to make a statistic impact, and we all know thats how the rookies allstars are selected.

well if they have a second unit or a unit in case someone gets hurt then yes hill will make it......i dont think he can make the team much less be a good rookie
The rookie challenge is ing lame. Actually, All Star weekend, as a whole, is pretty ing lame these days.

I agree, with the exception of the Shooting Stars compe ion.
you guys hardly mention Roger Mason. He is the best addition Spurs have got in a couple of years.

I didn't know you could be in the league for a few years then go to the Spurs and become a rookie all over again.
not a rookie. it's just that I see ppl mentioning George HIll a lot, when you have a much, much better addition in Roger Mason. that's all
At this point, I hope he just makes the active roster and not end up on our D-league.
If he gets on the roster, then I'll start hoping he gets regular minutes. Not even there yet for me though.
Avoiding the D-leagure is not a guarantee IMO right now.
