Yup..encourage little kids by dunking on them so the other 100 kids can watch and laugh.So Michael Jordan takes time to go talk to kids, probably in a poor neighborhood, encourage them, motivate them, show them what you can accomplish when you strive to be the best, and even play a little ball with them, and somehow he's an asshole for this?

I didn't read anyone calling Michael Jordan an asshole for being at the camp. I thought it was amusing that he was going one-on-one against a bunch of kids and trying.
He is a prick and an asshole, but not because of the video posted. Apparently, it's impossible for an asshole to be nice to some fans from time to time when they meet him for a few minutes at a time.
And, I guess Michael Finley having a good experience with Michael Jordan automatically refutes the fact that Michael Jordan was an asshole.

Kobe haters here will cite his adultery, feuding with Shaq, and blasting of the Laker organization last off-season as the reason why they hate Kobe......but lets be completely serious and honest here.
You hated Kobe LONG before he ever did any of that. Kobe is the only player in the history of the NBA that can even be compared with Jordan. The fact that Kobe haters KEEP creating topics about this really only proves that fact. If Kobe was clearly not in MJ's league we wouldn't have 10+ page discussions about this topic every single month. We just wouldn't. It's quite clear he IS on MJ's level as far as talent goes. Obviously he doesn't have the awards of les to match (and probably won't), but lets remember Kobe is still 30. Lots of basketball left to be played, and now that Kobe has a serious team around him lets see what he can do. MJ didn't win his first le until he was 29, Kobe is 30 and has 3 rings.
As to who would win in a 1-1 battle, who the knows.....all I know is it wouldn't be "no contest" for either player.

I was amused by him playing one-on-one with kids as if it was actually helping their game. I laughed when he started driving the ball to the hoop, used pump fakes, and after he dunked a couple times, he quipped, "you didn't think I could still do that" to the crowd.
Was he trying like it was the NBA Finals? No. But, he tried enough so that he showed them darn kids he's still the man. For what?
I found it amusing and still lame... especially for the G.O.A.T.
