I do it too. So I am a hypocrite when I say this. But I ing hate it to high when someone swoops in with 15 seconds to go and steals my auction.

I bid on some audio gear for my home studio 3 or 4 times and got sick of being sniped at the last second so i just did a buy it now. I paid a bit more but it was worth it as this was driving me crazy.

I have been waiting to find this card. Then there it is. And then my dumb ass doesn't put a max bid on it, that's why I lost.
That's why you gotta watch it and bid within the last 2 seconds.

Dude I was going to Buy Now on a TD card last month, and had the page up for 10 minutes doing other things. I go back and click it then the next page said, "Sorry this item has ended."
Needless to say I was pissed, again.

happens to me all the time. i hate the max bid.
We need to invent some sort of eBay Robot with extreme swooping action and an automatic max bid function.

That is hilarious that you say that!!! For a minute there I thought you were talking about me. Because I always people out of what they want in the last ten seconds or so. Truthfully that is the best time to put a bid in!! But when I seen you was bidding on a card and realized I have never bid on those. But trust me? If you are bidding on a pair of Tim Duncan shoes, don't even waste your time? Because they will be mine!!!!!! Well go ahead, I probably already have them. I've stayed away from cards, I'm afaid if I start I'll never stop. I only have a few, they were a gift.
If anyone can find me a PSA Grade 10 David Robinson 1989 Hoops #138 Rookie Card I will send you a gift. That is if I am able to get the card first.
