    Tell that to the Spurs.
There is an exception to every rule. The NFL does it right.

Because they are one of the most popular franchises in the NFL. They are consistently one of the highest rated teams in the NFL. Even when down, they are at the top of the list when it comes to highest selling teams in the NFL. They bring in high ratings no matter if they are good or bad. The fans of the Cowboys invade just about every stadium on every week.

You being a Redskin fan should know this. I am originally from Texas but live in Landover, Maryland (the home of Fed Ex Field) and there are NUMEROUS Cowboy fans here. Probably the 2nd largest contigent of Cowboy fans outside Texas and California.

As Hostile on Dallascowboyszone said. "Embrace the Hate." We love it and it shows that we must be doing something right. Nobody hates the Cardinals because they suck.

As Harris poll has it, the Dallas Cowboys are the most popular team in the NFL.
the only two things that you said that I would disagree with would be:
    1) arizona had more cowboys fans than cardinals fans
    2) I believe the cowboys sell(are the most popular) jerseys in the world.

    cowboys, the worlds team.ha.

5 rings might have more to do with that.
If that's your point than you would have to claim the Niners and the Steelers as America's team as well.

All I have to say is the Cowboys. Since the creation of the Texans, the Cowboys have won as many playoff games as the Texans. ZERO!

the Cowboys. They are the the pussy ass Yankees of the NFL. And anyone that claims to be a fan of the Cowboys are as sad and pathetic as the baseball fans that claim to be fans of the Yankees.

San Antonio Cowboy fans are like the pathetic younger brother of a bully. They talk a bunch of for their older brother but don't really have any real connection to them.

Any Cowboy fan south of San Antonio is more pathetic than actual San Antonio Cowboy fans. They are the bas niece of the Uncle they root for. The Uncle doesn't give a about them but just pats the bas on the top of the head and says "sure I love you" and then laughs at them on the way home. But he bas child has unconditional love for the head father that doesn't give a about them.

Those are South Texas Cowboy fans.

And if you got Cowboy fans wish to bring the Oilers into the equation, than you would have to bring the ans in as well. And since the ans/Oilers/Texans have made a Superbowl more recently than the Cowboys have then that means your got team is still more pathetic than the Texans/Oilers/ ans.

I don't the hate Cowboys as much as I used to but I'm sure if they run off a string of Super Bowl appearances like the early 90's, it will return.

As a Redskin fan, I hate the hard cap. With an owner like Dan Snyder, the Washington Redskins would have been the reincarnation of the New York Yankees.

What makes you think Dan Snyder is the only owner in the NFL that could pull that off? I can think of a couple other owners that would have battled him for players if there was no cap. An owner in North Texas and an owner from Western Washington comes to mind.

I lived in Northern Virginia, Reston to be exact, for 12 years and what I remember is that you Dallas fans in the area were loathed, hated, outcasts and oddballs who didn't have enough sense to cheer for the home team. The Redskins as well as other teams have fans nationally too. Not just Dallas. But it is only Dallas who makes the claim of being "America's Team". In fact shouldn't the Redskins really be considered America's Team? After all Washington is the Capital of this great nation. Not Dallas.
Well again. I am from Texas but only moved up here 3 years ago. I live just south of Fed Ex field on the Morgan BLVD metro station. Just because you are from a city or state does not mean you are obligated to root for your team or state. There are thousands of Miami Hurricane fans and they never stepped in the state of Florida. There are thousands of Yankee fans, Cub fans, St. Louis Cardinal fans, and more and many of them never set foot in the states those teams are in. So the crying about cheering for teams from other places is a bunch of whining. Now if you meet a Laker, Cowboy, and Yankee fan, than by all means, Challenge that .

Oh and I love that people cry about the America's Team thing. The media will keep calling us that as well as the Cowboy fans will continue to to embrace that nickname. Get over it.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Additionally, how stupid is it to hate the Dallas Mavericks yet give full support to the Dallas Cowboys? If moronic San Antonio area cowboy fans weren't so dogged in their support for the team we probably would have gotten our own NFL team years ago. Another reason to despise the Dallas Cowboys and their brainwashed San Antonio area fans.

No . Lame bas s were just ecstatic when Jones threw them a bone last season and made their training camp here. But he cares so much about the San Antonio fan base that he sent the training camp back to Oxnard. It's pretty sad actually.

Not only that but when was the last time Jerry Jones even bothered to bring his team down here for a lousy preseason game for his local lackeys? That's how little he cares about the fools around here that support his team. Good enough for a training camp at "our" dome but not good enough for a game. What a bunch of fools.

Do any teams host preseason games at their training camp sites?

One big difference, this training site we have here also happens to be a 65,000 seat football stadium. So why no preseason games? And this year the Dallas training camp is in California. Still no Cowboy preseason games scheduled here that I know of.

I guess all teams hold their preseason games at their own arenas for their local fans? The Cowboys don't have any obligation to host their preseason games at the Alamodome if they have camp there. They probably wouldn't even sell 1/3 of the seats for a preseason game...no one gives a about preseason, and the ones that do probably just want to watch some football, so they'll watch it on TV not go to the game. Seriously if someone handed me tickets on the 50 yard line with paid air travel and hotel to Colts preseason games I wouldn't even go.

That's disappointing. If anyone handed me airfare to an open Texans training camp practice and I didn't have to pay for it I would be there no matter what.

I guess this is what separates the real fans from the bandwagon fans.

What a bunch of bull . Jones doesn't have preseason games down here because he doesn't give a goddamned about you stupid ass San Antonio cowpig fans. But he has them at Texas Stadium doesn't he? If preseason games weren't heavily attended money-makers the preseason wouldn't be played at all. By any teams.

If I'm going to take time out of my life to travel to Indianapolis I'd rather it be to a regular season game...not preseason...I've got a ton of pics I took at the game I went to last year if you need me to prove I'm not a got damned bandwagon fan. You find me a bandwagon fan that travels from Texas to Indiana for one day just to go to an NFL game and I'll shut up.
