Well according to this thread you actually wouldn't see Mavs fans, but I understand sometimes it's hard to keep continuity when you're trying to diss Mavs fans. A for Effort.
You'll probably find that it gets a lot of use at night (if they're lit of course). Whenever I'm staying in Phoenix, after 10PM is when most of the outdoor courts start getting busy.
The only people who you'll see using them during the day are 12 year olds and Mavs fans.

Mav fan played in 100 degree weather, got sick, learned that the best way to not get sick is to avoid playing in 100 degree weather.
Exactly like how the Mavericks figured out that the best way to not lose in the Finals is to lose in the 1st round instead.
athankya.
lol
if they are used at night my brother in law and i will play, im still nursing a few injuries from when i came out of retirement about a month ago and played every day for two weeks here in Cali. Just when my skills were getting to where i wanted them, it was like i turned the clock back 15 years, and in a game of 21 some smart ass 14 yr old who was playing with a bunch of older guys tried to go bill laimbeer on me and shove me in the small of my back as i was driving to the basket. Little er. A few plays later he ate some asphault when he drove on me and i lowered my shoulder into his chest.
I just smiled and said so you want to play rough do ya? But my back is still kinda ed up but getting better assuming i dont tweak it again during this move.
I guess I should learn to fly so that I can circle the earth very quickly in a counter rotational direction thereby turning back time to the point just prior to Mav fan learning that 100+ degree heat was too much for him in order to make my post more relevant. I appreciate the tip.
Well done.
Hey I'm pretty good at basketball ...........
I play full court ball a couple of times a week. If you're the kind of athlete you say you are, you understand what your body can handle and you take care of yourself. I've had games where I've played myself sick, maybe like 5 or 6 years ago.
My only objection is that is seems like I can't post in a thread without some internet tough guy commenting that the topic is ' ing stupid'.
Bottom line is, basketball is fun, and if you love the game you won't sit on your thumbs for the three or four months a year that it's godawful hot in Texas.
i actually like playing ball in this kinda heat... only down side is that i get sunburned like a mofo... so usually before i play ill put some sun tan lotion on. i went from caucasian looking to indian (dot) looking in about a week.
what if its 115-118 in Nevada? Is that an excuse to not play?
Drink water/gatorade like a mofo when you're out there. I once played a two-hour tennis match in 117 degree heat, went into the match well hydrated, drank two gallons of fluids while on the court, and still felt a little dehydrated afterwards.
not sure if you can keep your eyes open in that heat, running with the hot wind like that im guessing will be difficult at best.
thats the downside there is no such thing as a cool breeze in Las Vegas in the summer.
X-factor Berry, the red one.
I think that's it. is the bommmmmmmmmmmb.
The only problem with playing in 100+ degrees is that I burn my hands on the rims.
so what you saying you play above the rim?
i used to be able to dunk a volleyball (barely)in high school, now i can not even touch the rim.
I'm 5ft10
Where do you play? I used to play all the time in the ATX
Mostly at Clarksville Park on 11th, in between Toyath and Mopac. Just west of downtown.
Where did you used to play?
Just places around where I lived. Crockett gym, Metz park when I wanted to hoop with the mojos and junkies.
well i took you guys advice and went out in hooped in the 108 degree sun today. didnt want to be called a pussy and lose my "e-rep"
what a lame troll, you worthless siccophant
Somewhere a village is missing its idiot..
Head to the beach after you play in that kind of heat, its in lush.
For me it's usually the forearms.
