I like to call Bonner BonDog or boner, so I woukd take Bonner over Puke.
Walton has a bigger and longer contrect, no thanks!

Can anyone tell me why we even signed him up in the first place?
I mean we traded Rasho for him, but we signed him up on this ridiculous 3 year contract at about 3M per year. What was he offering that we needed to pay that much for anyway?
I just meant on talent and hustle. Walton probably got worn down from The Mamba spitting his venom at him all the time.
Without a doubt get a pick round!
Brad Miller would either love it (have him a toking buddy and someone who could score some mondo hippy lettuce) or hate it (cause Howard would smoke up all Miller's private stash).....
I propose this trade:

Bonner isn't worth .
Waive him so he can go back to Toronto.
Damn, I can't watch that dude play for some reason. no offense..
Only Jim Rome refers to pot as "hippie lettuce." Is Rome burning on your radio and TV?
Very good trade for Phoenix (although Phoenix would lose a key ball handler that can spell Nash and that is something they desperately need), good trade for the Spurs (get the defensive, athletic 3 they need and a rotational big and gave up nothing really), terrible for the Raptors (raped).
Bonner for a second round doesn;t bother me...
I propose this midseason trade.
Golden State receives:
Matt Bonner
Ime Udoka
Jacque Vaughn
Anthony Tolliver (or James Gist)
Their own 2008 2nd round pick (currently owned by Spurs)
San Antonio receives:
Stephen Jackson
Check the salaries (on realgm) - it works.
By midseason, Golden State will be at the bottom of the standings, ready to cut salary and make a run at the lottery. Stephen Jackson will most likely be seen as not helping the chemistry of the young team.
Spurs step in, offer up some expiring contracts and a pick, and voila, you've got a trade.
BTW, Jackson's contract is up the summer of '10 - the Spurs get the ballsy scorer they've been missing for quite some time now along with the contract they want.
please do trade Bonner...i would agree if we trade him even for a draft pick or just cash considerations..go trade him quickly..he's just eating cap space in our team.
I am all for trading him but I doubt anyone wants him. I only see 2 scenarios where he gets traded:
1. Spurs take on a bad contract
2. Spurs package him with a better player and/or draft picks
Option 2 is more likely but the Spurs won't trade Bowen, Manu, TP, TD, Thomas, Mason (unless it is a no brainer)
That leaves Vaughn, Mahinmi, Oberto, Hill and Udoka. It will be really tough to find a package that intrigues other teams and makes the Spurs better. One can only hope...
We should get rid of him ore trade him!
not sure why bonner gets so much hate........after all it was pop who brought him in
I want to see Bonner play more minutes, at least early in the season. If he doesn't pan out, then trading him would be better than letting him rot.
Tolliver's already signed for insurance.
No worries, I'm sure the FO is aggressively shopping Bonner for a 35 + year old player or some some unsignable eurotrash.
I just don't get why we resign the contract with him in the first place.
What he said.
But he has not showed us much!:/
Well , he brings in just about everybody. And you're constantly hating on them, so other than trying to contradict yourself, what's your point?
same here must be how he runs ore some haha no offense to!
geez, after one season udoka is already in trade talks
