ESPN 1250 will never post this, but I will.

I suspect Peter Burns and Clear Channel know this, but will never post it either.

Arbitron has been contacted by BMP Radio and their attorneys.

Apparently, Ticket 760 has been using "ESPN" as one of its partner names for years.

Thus, any listener logging "ESPN" or "ESPN 1250" or "ESPN 1250 The Zone" in their Arbitron diary from February 2008 to July 2008, the credit went to Ticket 760.

So... any Ticket 760 ratings since February 2008 via Arbitron has equaled Ticket 760 + ESPN 1250.

Look for the Fall ratings book to show a significant loss for Ticket 760 and a true correction for ESPN 1250.

Ticket 760's ratings have been inflated by at least 50%, while Arbitron's faulty's ratings of ESPN 1250 have registered zero.

Watch the Clear Channel suits in their pants, beginning in October.

    I have inside information.

But I don't expect you to believe me until you have proof.

Watch closely. I do know that BMP Radio has filed a protest with Arbitron over the fact that ALL references to ESPN in Arbitron Diaries have been credited to Ticket 760.

If you want a better sense of the accurate ratings, divide The Ticket's by two and add 50% to ESPN.

Watch the Fall ratings book. If I'm wrong, I'll eat your hat.

People at Clear Channel are nervous and know what ESPN has done to them from a revenue standpoint. If no one is listening, why is ESPN so profitable after just six months and how do YOU know about them?

the only reason I know about espn 1250 is because their afternoon hosts chrissy duel and Don Murphy use this website to promote their careers free of charge.

    Let me ask YOU this.

If ESPN is soooooo profitable after just 6 months, why do they not have a website?

    Evey business has a website.

    Why not ESPN?

I have a question, why is ESPN 1250 (KZDC, right?) not even on this list...

Wow. This is good stuff. Made my morning.
If anything, ESPN gets a bump because when people listen to Dan Patrick, a lot of them think he is with ESPN. Which actually hurts Ticket ratings.

And more so. Based on your allegations, ESPN should show up as a Zero right?

I mean, if you are telling me that any listener that says ESPN gets credited to Ticket, then ESPN wouldn't even show up in the book. There would be no way to get ratings.....Pwned #1

Logan. If you have the inside information. Feel Free to post how profitable they are. Because, I get the billing info of every single station in town. So I know.

So when you make a statement about how much they are billing and you say it's so profitable, it automatically discredits your "inside" information. Pwned #2

Basically, you've become the Marc Furman of this topic. Except, in this case. OJ is found Guilty.

Seriously, Peter, aren't you too old to use the word "Pwned"? Other than hitting on dumb-as-a-board Pickler, I know it comes from Stacie-talk, but honestly, time to move on...

Ticket 760 sucks. ESPN 1250 is the best thing to happen to San Antonio radio in a long time.

Seeing as how Burns posted the numbers for actual AQH Listeners, your argument is completely wrong. If we got credit every time someone wrote down ESPN or "1250 the Zone" or anything like that, then ESPN would have ZERO numbers for everything. And as we saw, 1250 averages 300 listeners per quarter-hour for Duel's show. Whereas Ticket has around 5,000 listeners per quarter-hour for Taylor's show. If you're argument was legit, Duel would have NO listeners per QH. Thanks for playing.

If we made any money off our board, that would make sense. But considering we don't, why would we care if one of the mods at SR works at Ticket 760?

(and timvp doesn't listen to any sports talk radio, so I don't think he cares that much about any station)
