manu needs to bottle that up for the season...
words from Argentina Coach. looks like Manu will play with his game face on this time.
"Manu estuvo endemoniado. Va a estar bárbaro para el día del debut. Lo de Carlitos Delfino fue un concierto de tremendas jugadas; hizo tres o cuatro sensacionales."
"Manu was possessed. He will be barbaric on the day of debut. Carlos Delfino also performed a concert of great plays, he did 3 or 4 sensational plays."
anybody know the schedule of basketball games that will be shown in the US?
manu needs to bottle that up for the season...
sounds like Manu is about to star in a sequel to "300"
No healthy Manu for the 2008-2009 season![]()
I hope he doesn't chew on the basketball.
i just want manu healthy for next years playoffs
Well, I guess he met his quota for the year.
Check out my sig: Manu's always got ridin' with him.
Back to climbing the Great Wall of China I see![]()
For Argentina's sake, hopefully Manu is more ready to go than he was for Game 1 of the WCF.
![]()
The word Bárbaro in Argentina is used to mean 'great'.
means barbarian too. Manu's gonna go Gengis Khan and conquer Asia once again
Well if Manu doesn't come out of this offseason healthy Barbaro is going to be a good description without any translation.
so he is climbing the great wall instead of getting some rest and practicing?![]()
That was extremely funny and extremely not funny at the same time.
Props![]()
Actually Manu didn't have to climb.
Manu dunked on Yao Ming; again
Music to timvp's ears.
Team USA's gotta be worried if they match up with the Argentine team. Got a feeling, they are going to get their asses handed to them again. As far as Manu's health for the regular season, that is why we signed Mason. He is going to be getting many more minutes and we are going to rest Manu more in the first half of the season regardless of whether he played in the Olympics or not. Manu doesn't really start bringing it hardcore until after the All-Star break anyways. By that time, he will be well rested.
Well considering Manu and Kobe were the Lakers' best players in the WCF, Argentina doesn't exactly have to set their expectations too high.
I'm done with Manu, next.
I'm glad Manu is ready for this and not for the team that gives him 8.5 mill a year.
What's hilarious is how the South American press is portraying the "evil Texans" as this controlling group of greedy mongerers whose sole motivation is sabotoging the Argentineans of a shot at a medal.
Then again, Manu's salary is higher than Argentina's entire GDP so why am I surprised?
