Yeah he is. That is one swimming mofo. But I still remember watching Mark Spitz back in '72 win his 7 golds and whooping some ass. I hope Phelps can surpass that.

What events do people watch?
I watch gymnastics, weightlifting, martial arts, soccer, and basketball. Also I'll sometimes browse the other sports.
I watch a lot of it so I see whatever they're airing, but I look for the gymnastics, basketball, and swimming. I'm really hoping Michael Phelps can win the 8 Gold. He's incredible.
TD would beat anybody in anything that swimming has to offer. Breast stroke, back stroke, diving, sychrnoized, whatever.
I think Duncan would have been a Champion swimmer had he stayed with it. He was already on the radar when he quit. It worked out okay though, had he stayed in swimming we wouldn't have him as a Spur.
I particually watch the gymnastics. The upper body strength it takes to pull off those exercises are crazy. I would love to train to do something like that one day. And of course I like Basketball and swimming.
The amount of camera time the American Women's gymnastics team just got to act during a "huddle" almost made me want to puke. NBC and the girls trying to act their way to magic is re ed beyond belief.

Frenchie talks . Race Starts. Australians lead. Americans lead. Frenchies lead. Frenchies lead by a lot. Frenchies start to realize winning is not so French. American starts to kick Frenchies' ass. French surrender. Americans win gold. American commentators talk to the Frenchies who talked before the race.
