Before you try explaining anything you might want to try reading some of the threads in the forum instead of starting new threads about stuff that has been posted for 4 days...
what do you all think of trading up for Chris Wilcox of OKC?
think about it for a sec....they are overstocked on the PF/C positions and understocked in the SG/PG positions.
they will also get rid of a 6.5 mil contract while we could trade up Hill,Gist,Bonner, and maybe finley.
just a thought with no research into it......
i appologize for it....
Well what else could i have said, I. Argue.
you changed my name 21+20/19*30=dumbass
Fixed your math for ya.
I have always been a huge fan of Wilcox. Seattle might be willing to trade due to his recent troubles and due to the fact that they want to develop their young players.
Wilcox will be a free agent after next season. Nick Collison is signed for three more seasons, so maybe they'd want to unload him for shorter contracts. Bonner + Oberto works salarywise and are both only signed for two years, but I can't see them going for that. I had hoped that Gist would be similar to Wilcox... I wish there was definitive news on whether he has signed in Italy or not.
This is annoying! Why is it so hard to get news from Gist's agent or the Spurs saying definitively whether or not Gist has signed in Italy?!
damn, get off his balls already. never mind Ducks, he gets to park in the front cuz he's a re .
Then its begin..the European departure. Pargo is next in the line....
i know its hard to admit, but HE IS GONE. Spurs did retain his right to play in NBA, but if he's doin good upthere his team will offer more money and historically proven speaking Spurs will not/can not match his contract. I dont think its necessary to remind u about Splitter and Scola case. We're not Rockets. And if he's doin really bad in Europe so his team wont offer another contract,do you think he will be of any help in Spurs??? He did play incredible games in summer league and i wish Spurs sign him up before he's even played in summer league, but then again nobody knows hes playin that good at that time..
Historically proven speaking, how much did Angelico pay for its star players that got them to an 11th place finish in the Italian League?Just as Angelico is not Tau.I dont think its necessary to remind u about Splitter and Scola case. We're not Rockets.
This is something from the Spurs website I just came across. It's about a month old. http://www.nba.com/spurs/news/mailba....html?rss=true
Question: Do you think James Gist can play a little small forward?
Dennis Lindsey: We see him as a mobile “4” that can play some small forward. The combination "4" is kind of unique for our program. The great thing about James is his athleticism and he has great lateral quickness to also slide his feet around the perimeter. He has defensive versatility and that was something that really attracted us to him.
Rob Hennigan: That’s kind of the million dollar question is can he make that switch to the perimeter and that small forward position. He played primarily small forward in college and that’s where he was most productive. He’s going to get a chance to experiment with that and try to prove us and the rest of his teammates that he can contribute at that position
Question: How did the scouting process work with George Hill?
Rob Hennigan: It started with his freshmen year. We identified him as a guy to keep following because we were intrigued by his tools. This past year we saw him a couple of times early in the year and then when he got invited to the Orlando pre-draft camp we really made it a priority of ours to really focus on him and dissect his game. He played very well in Orlando and then we had him in for a workout and an interview. Our coaching staff really liked him and thought that he had a chance to contribute right away heading into next season and we decided that he was our guy.
I'm moving to Vicenza in a few months. It's really not that far to go to Biella from there. Maybe I'll have to go see Gist play this season?
Please, Darkwaters.![]()
That would be awesome.
Wow, that's great. You could be the official Italian league scout for Spurstalk!
maybe he can play with kobe over there in a couple of years
