Uh, no they can't. Luring one player like this will put them seriously in the red for years.
They can, and they eventually will. For an egomaniacal European equivalent of Mark Cuban or James Dolan, the glory of luring an NBA star away from the USA and taking the euroleagues one step closer to parity with the NBA would be worth the short term loss. It's inevitable. The USA ruled basketball for a long time, but time is not standing still. I'd say we are at the most 10 years away from the time when the Euro champs can legitimately claim to be as good as the NBA champs.

but each european national league only has a few like 1-2 strong teams and rest is makn up the numbers, its only euroleague tournaments is where the money and big clubs are....

Your pathetic franchise will probably retire Kobe's number the way they did Jordan's and Dan Marino's.

meaning no disrepect, my youngest played soccer, i had to learn things i didnt want to.(thats life and ill never, ever be a dead beat dad) needless to say, and thank god he could out run every single kid in the league, to the point(every yr. the teams coach would call and say you know blanks uniform is on the house if he plays with us again) for 2 seasons in a row, he brought the worst team in the league every single year before him, a championship. then like most kids said this is boring and never kicked a ball again....once again(thank god)...thats why euros would pay 50 million dollars to get the best out there...once again meaning no disrepect, i disagree with ya about your theory on money. everything in this world is about money.......i have this saying my wife hates hearing........show them the money and the love will follow.........
Oh you poor baby, your kid played soccer? You want some cheese with that whine?
