Gas is going down here as well......thank GOD. Lowest I've seen is 4.05
I'm in Houston so I'll watch the news at six to see if this is true.

holy ! Down to 2:38 and both stations say they'll keep it going till they run out of gas. One of the stations was a new one and it was a promo but the station across the street started going lower so the price war was on.
Pretty nuts at the long lines.
Well, I'm sure the boost in gas business also translates into a boost of small item sales, such as chips and a soda, ect.
im still paying like 4 and some change...

mckinney and rowlett have the cheapest gas up here, but this price drop is just a charade. it's just going down because people are cutting back. just wait 'til people get comfortable. BELEE DAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was happy when I filled up for $3.69 this morning.
sons just do what I did and convert your car to run on vegetable oil. I use it as my everyday whip, but I still kept my mercedes as my weekend stunta whip.

$3.77 is the lowest ive seen here in Vegas still better than $4.07 to $4.19 on the day i left Cali.
Gas stations make on gas only 20 to 30 cents per gallon, one gas and dash and they lose quite a bit of money. They rely on soda, cigarettes, snacks and lotto sales for profits. Some bigger stations receive large sums of money to carry a particular brand of gas, i knew an owner of a truck stop off of 75 in northern michigan and he was paid over $1 mil to switch to a new brand of gas.
If i owned the station i would sell my gas at cost in hopes of getting the extra traffic and making all of my profits with the above.
I thought they could only go so low on the price before they get a call from the gov.

Its good and cheap in Burleson.
I think its been hovering in the 3.50 range for over a week. Probably will break through the 3.40 range today.
