This game is the . Madden moments are pretty cool and the franchise mode really kicks ass. Virtual Trainer was pretty cool too.

I wasn't really sure if I should get it because I had '08 on PS3 and didn't like it all that much but i downloaded the demo today and it looks REALLY good. I'm definately gonna pick it up some time this week.

I had a guy beat with two minutes to go, then throw an INT he comes back with 58 seconds left, then I get a 58 yard pass to win it.
Some of these INTs are pissing me off, and i'm getting this glitch where it freezes on me sometimes when i hit Timeout. I had to leave a game cause of it.
I haven't played in 3 years so this is tough to get used to.Thankfully they have that replay thing so you can do the play over while I am re-learning this thing. Is there a way to customize the buttons?
Also I can't find Pacman or Favre. Guess they will be in a update.

So if I create a franchise what will happen when Pacman gets reinstated? Will he be a free agent or just get placed on my roster even if I'm 5 or whatever games in?
I was kind of disappointed there wasn't a roster update put in place. Example I like playing my first season with the Texans team that starts opening day and was shocked that Colven wasnt on the roster. He was however a free agent so I picked him up. Slaton is actually pretty good in the game, fast, and somewhat Elusive, so he is a work in progress with the mini camps. Have already boosted his Overall 2 points.
I'm a cheapass, and already have NCAA 09, but am thinking about trading that in and getting Madden for ps3.

The Madden gameplay is always better than the NCAA gameplay IMO. I feel like NCAA is a learning curve for Madden each year.
Yeah you can save it that way and then put it on your xbox.
you can just have someone who has x-box live get on your xbox and download the rosters straight to your HD

2k8 online wasn't that way.
It was for baseball.
2k8 baseball pissed me off so much. Great game but the online lag made it unplayable. On a better note I'm pleasantly suprised with how good Madden is. Last year was an abortion but they improved the game 10 fold this year.
Yeah thats why I didnt play 2k8 online but one time. 2k7 didnt have that online lag. Yeah Madden is pretty damn awesome compared to last year. Do you play it on line B2B?
Sometimes. Its tough to get a good game going with three kids around the house. I always end up having to pause the game and change a diaper or bandage up broken arms, legs and furniture. I try to get on when the kids are somewhere else so I can quietly kick some ass.
You guys need to go get the datel transfer kit. Some kick ass rosters and depth charts are posted over at operationsports.com. Way more accurate than what EA puts out.
I just picked it up. I will get my PS3 back tonight from my brother and will start playing it tomorrow morning once I get home from work.....I'm stoked!!!
