I never ever have to log in FF or IE unless I log out.
It's something with certain people's browser settings. PM Slomo with all your specs (as we have asked people to do a hundred times) so they can try to figure out what your problem is.

What browser are you using?
Have you tried clearing the cookies/private data for your browser?
Have you tried downloading a different browser and seeing if the problem occurs there?
everything is on medium. I use internet explorer because I run reports for work on it and everything else in incompatible.

Btw, it happens to me, too but I just count my blessings that I have 2 hands to log in with and live in a country that is free and a forum with an ignore feature and a wife and children who love me and a tremendous sense of humility and self-confidence. God bless you all including Pop and Holt!

Gotcha. I would start by trying to clear out your Cookies and Temp. Internet Files. You might have to re-enter a few passwords on a few sites and authenticate a few security certificates, but it will also clear up a lot of junk that could be clogging up IE.
1) In IE, go to Tools>Internet Options.
2) In the General Tab, click on Delete Cookies. Hit OK on the message to confirm.
3) Click on Delete Files. If you want to delete versions of sites you've saved for Offline Use (or if you don't use this much), click on the checkbox for Delete All Offline Content, then hit OK.
4) Go into Settings, and make sure Check for Newer Versions of Stored Pages is set to Automatically, or upon Every Visit. Hit OK.
5) Quit IE. Launch IE, log into Spurstalk, and see if it stores your user name after that.
6) Make sure you're clicking the Remember Me checkbox.

happened to me with firefox before, had to uninstall ff with all my settings and reinstall then it worked again though it was a pain to gett everything back again
i never have to log in, even after i turn off my computer.
Auto complete passwords would be your friend. And unless you are the only one using your laptop, it sometimes is not a wise idea due to security issues.
