If this list is correct Number 2 and Number 3 are overpaid imo...
Can anyone please help me confirm this list? Is it accurate?
Thanks for any help.

2. Jason Kidd (Dallas Mavericks) - $21,372,000
3. Kobe Bryant (LA Lakers) - $21,262,500
4. Tracy McGrady (Houston Rockets) - $21,126,875
5. Allen Iverson (Denver Nuggets) - $20,840,625

10. Ray Allen (Boston Celtics) - $17,388,430
If this list is correct Number 2 and Number 3 are overpaid imo...
number 1 is massively overpaid.
surprised to see stephon marbury not on that list. i thought he made 20+ mil
EDIT: and he does ($20,840,625), according to ESPN trade machine
some of the salaries listed there don't match up with the espn trade machine
That's my question. Hoopshype, and others, have different lists. I'm trying to find what's closest to the truth.
Is Hoopshype the most accurate site to believe?
you can thank minnesota
hahaha....JERMAINE O NEAL are you kidding me??!!
I don't think the Celtics feel that way.
And, he's taking a pretty big paycut starting the season following the next one.
Steve Francis makes $19mil a year???
Highway robbery!!!
1,4,5,7, and 9 too.
KG makes over 300K per game
A second year player like Glen Davis will make $711,517 for the entire season
The fact that 2, 3, 4 and 5 make more than Duncan is a joke. Just goes to show that there are some really horrible GMs in the league.
Duncan actually took less money in order for the team to be better

That list isnt entirely correct, but both 2's, 4, 5, 7, 9 and 10 are all over paid.
1, 3, 6 and 8 are ok.
According to HoopsHype (the site that I've always considered to be the most accurate), this is the current ranking for the upcoming season:
1. Kevin Garnett (Boston) $24,750,000
2. Stephon Marbury (New York) $21,937,500
-. Allen Iverson (Denver) $21,937,500
4. Jason Kidd (Dallas) $21,372,000
5. Jermaine O'Neal (Toronto) $21,352,500
6. Kobe Bryant (LA Lakers) $21,262,500
7. Tracy McGrady (Houston) $21,126,874
8. Tim Duncan (San Antonio) $20,598,703
9. Shaquille O'Neal (Phoenix) $20,000,000
10. Steve Francis (Portland / Houston) $19,814,480
On another note, how does the ESPN NBA Trade Machine have the Spurs listed as having a payroll of $84,421,427?

s yea
Oh yea...KG...get that money! You deserve it!
kg, pierce and ray allen on that list. no wonder they won......
Thanks, that's good to know. There's quite a bit of contradicting info out there.
kb24 is worth every penny of that money simply because he's the best player in the game right now.
Do you think the nba is actually rigged?
The ESPN Trade Machine gets its numbers straight from the NBA. They are the most reliable ... even though right now their team totals are messed up.
Thanks timvp. Straight from the NBA is the way to go.
