I'm not a ing rap messiah. Who said that ? How's posting two YouTube videos of an artist equate to me thinking that? Dumbass.

Because you thought you were gonna tell that guy how much cooler Lupe is than other mainstream artists, you stupid piece of . That's not so hard to understand.
He ing is. Would you rather listen to Soulja Boy or Lupe Fiasco? Seriously...
Just because I say Lupe is a lot better than him, it somehow equates to me thinking I'm the rap messiah.
He tends to be overrated because he's slightly different. He's alright.

All that showed me was the timvp thinks Lupe can't be a good hip hop artist because he skateboards. This song by a group affiliated with Lupe sums it up nicely:
Anyway, back to Hard Knocks...
Did anyone else scratch there chin when HBO do etary about a football training camp shows one of the players with a rock hard KAWK leaving the room where men are naked then have the player say "God blessed him" something like that then he walked around the facilities with his boner.
Lulz.
This happened on "Hard Knocks"?

It was a joke. The guy had something (a water bottle, I think) crammed down his pants.
That was no bottle
Hey GuerillaBlack...I liked that. Thank you.
I haven't spent a penny on rap since I bought my last Black Sheep CD in the 90's because of the bling generation.
I'm sure I put a target on myself for saying that but whatever...everyone has their own taste so get over it.
Hey just like "your moms"
Lupe, souljaboy and the like. Hip-hop/rap is dead.
lies
It's far from dead.
Anyway, moving along...
^^ nah that..let me get this then move on.
How one could even put Lupe and souljaboy in the same sentence is beyond me. Lupe lyrically is a beast. His flow, subject, and charisma is on point. It's just that he's not talking about what the average fan wants to hear which is money, sex, cars, and hoes. Lupe s on Lil wayne, the self-God of today's 12-20 year olds. Oh and if you listen to Immortal Technique, Little Brother, Supas ion, Kay, or Murs, you obviously would know that hip hop is indeed still alive.
^I dont know. Ask the poster who first mentioned it. Any way, all that garbage. All it does is pollute the youth.
NOW, lets move along....
Hip Hop pollutes the youth? So this to you pollutes the youth?
Yeah, comprehend that.
You know, I can respect people who don't like hip hop and stuff, but to say it's dead and polluting the youth is just a flat out lie. Don't follow the radio garbage.
I didn't even bother with the youtube link. You are either kidding yourself or not educated enough if you think music doesn't influence the youth.
there's a difference between pollute (like you said) and influences. pick one. and i can't make you click the youtube link but you should.
Anyway, lets try not to hijack this thread huh? If you'd like to continue this, create a thread in the club and I will gladly discuss/debate/argue with you my thoughts. But Im out for the night.
i'm out for the night too. but i'll make that thread.
back to the hard knocks.
My cousin keeps insisting that Martelus Bennett is a star in the making. Which I don't agree with. He's probably being facetious because Bennett went to A&M and so did my cousin.
But I've never seen a coach spend so much time being on a players ass like Garrett has been on Bennett. It's like he's mentally not even trying to play or listen to anything they tell him.
