Henry's on Nogalitos
Taco Taco on Hildebrand
Taco Haven on Presa
I haven't tried too many places north of Loop 410 for tacos but i'll try some of these suggestions.
The Taco Rules...
Rule #1 You can't get good tacos north of Jackson Keller
Rule #2 The Place on Bandera across from the Planned Parent hood is Chachos and although their tacos are filling they are sometimes just eehhh...
Rule #3 Blanco Cafe is overpriced and mediocre
Rule #4 You can't get good food from a place that always runs out of food...you hear me original donut shop..
Rule #5 The best place for Tacos is and always will be Rolandos Super taco on Hildebrand.

Cuco's on Blanco has awesome tacos, especially the bacon and egg ones - they get the bacon super crispy and then chop it up into tiny pieces with the egg. So good.
Taco Taco on Hildebrand rocks (there is a special place in my heart for their migas tacos), but ever since the Food Network did that piece on them I can't even get in the freaking door most of the time.
Ape os is the best for breakfast I think, and actually I was surprised that Las Palapas has some really good breakfast tacos and hot sauce as well. Chapala Taco House on Austin Highway was awesome, but I haven't been there in so long I'm not even sure if they are around anymore.
Ok. I'll do it...
WHATABURGER.

Man, NBADan speaks some truth for once.
Yeah, a couple of my friends took me over there. Their barbacoa taco is awesome. Overall, the place is a great bargain.
I went to taco haven on presa this morning...or sat morning.....GOOD stuff...their machacado is the shiznit. I also have to give props to aguas calientes? off callaghan.
This thread took way too long to get to the truth. The El Rolando with bacon is the best breakfast taco in the history of breakfast tacos.
The best place is Anguianos, down on W. commerce. Probably like a 1/4 mile west of General Mcmullan!!! I believe they are still there, I haven't been down that way since 2003
The Original Doughnut Shop is awesome, but be aware that they don't take credit/debit cards-cash only. That is my favorite place.
If you are in a hurry Bill Millers of all places has surprisingly good tacos for a big chain place.
And their fried chicken isn't bad either. But you probably prefer your chicken raw.
That's what I said. Bill Millers is good. You can pretty much tell them to put any kind of combo together. Sausage and bean is my fave. The wifey likes potato and cheese. They use the same potatos that are used for lunch and dinner. Be bold, be daring try sausage potato and cheese or bean cheese and sausage or eggs and brisket. The possibilities are endless.
tajas on 35 on oconner is great
Tried Taco Taco today for the first time and enjoyed them much. Brought some to work and they got rave reviews.
I make my own at home and they are all the rave at work.
You guys take breakfast tacos to people at your work?! Damn I need to get a job.
I would say Rolando's and Panchitos are my faves. Bill Miller's is great for a chain restaurant.
Has anyone been to Gordo's? It's off of Plesanton and Divison. My co-workers adore that place but ever since they were racist towards me I refuse to go there.
You hiring?![]()
C'mon people. I can't be the only one in here who joneses HARD for Whataburger's sausage and egg taquitos with cheese. With a packet of picante sauce, you can't go wrong! I start itching for taquitos at 11 pm.
Bill Miller's tacos are good, but if you find a Bill's that serves the griddle cakes (the one in Floresville doesn't...bas s!), who needs tacos?
to Whataburger tacos!
to Bill Millers tacos
No offense but would you happen to be of the caucasion persuasion?
You're kidding, right?
What I don't like about most places that make tacos, BM included, is that they don't warm up the tortillas. It is not the same as bread. I know people eat them like that but to me it's disgusting. Plus Whataburger picante sauce![]()
I like Bill Miller's breakfast tacos. That being said, I'd walk over a mile of BM tacos to get to a taquito with cheese.
And what ing difference does it make if I'm a honky-ass cracker or not?
(I've looked up the family trees on both sides of my family and there's not a caucasian in the bunch. We're Irish. The original white trash.)
