I wish they hadn't done the hard knocks. It seems like a giant ass distraction resulting in a team that is playing as sloppy as anyone. Maybe it's just preseason means nothing, or it's a team that's distracted and making mental errors. We'll see as soon as the season kicks off.

Don't look too much into a meaningless preaseason game. We played a very vanilla game against the Broncos. Our 3rd and 4th string CBs started because they were testing Henry at nickle. All they did was play soft zones, giving alot of cushion to the Bronco's wideouts. And we only blitzed once in the whole game and that was in the 4th Qtr. Denver also had recieved 6 inches or rain that day and the field was noticeably slippy. I don't think they wanted to to risk injury going all out on a field like that, even though we did get a couple of guys banged up. They looked like they were just going to the motions, just wanting to get back to home. The important thing to take away from the game is that the special teams showed a vast improvement over the Charges game.

If the Cowboys are decent they will always have a million camera's out there distracting them. It’s the Cowboys dude…not the Bills. Besides, the local radio show that was out there said there is barely any HBO camera's which I found surprising.

I find it hard to believe that someone who is mentally strong enough to handle the pressure of the NFL in big games can be rattled by camera's.

I'm not looking at the score or the schemes, but the mental errors resulting in stupid penalties and small mistakes that will cost games in the regular season and have cost them in the last two playoffs.

It just seems that all of the "HBO portrays Bennett as lazy and Lattimore as inept" spins that even the players and coaches have been talking about could be distractions. , even knowing that what you are doing is going to be on a big time HBO production and not just local or ESPN quick hit bits has to create some sort of distraction, even for the Dallas Cowboys. Like I said, we'll see once the season starts because there is no reason for this talented ass team who should have a chip on their shoulders the size of Rhode Island to be losing games on penalties and stupid mistakes.

The Cowboys are just fine. If your team is trying hard in the preseason, it's probably because they're going to suck in the regular season.

the 89 Cowboys went undefeated in the preseason, which if course led to their incredible 1-15 year.

I hope you're right and that this isn't the first signs of the most talented and most undisciplined team in the NFL heading for choke city again.

I have never understood why people take pre season so seriously when every year its completely forgotten by everyone the week of kickoff.

His point is taken though. I understand the schemes not being ran or the players not being played in the preseason. I don't make to much of a big deal about that at all. But discipline knows no bounds. Preseason or no preseason, that must change. I wouldn't think much of special teams if it wasn't a problem last year. But it's evident that it's still a problem. I think we will improve in that area but we need to become more discipline.

True.....I think also in all three of the Cowboys SB years in the 90's they had a losing record in the preseason.

I agree. I love it when people, some even on this board, talk about preseason games. It is quite funny seeing people getting worked up over these games.

    Really enjoyed episode 3.

Loved seeing Brian Stewert, the DC, get on the players asses quite a bit.

Also, a nice piece on DWare and his adopted daughter. I enjoy seeing the human side of these guys.

I crack up when I see the T.O. pieces on him running, like on the beach in episode 1 and the dusty hill in episode 3. Its staged, but its cool.

Maybe he is like " coach, its practice, not a game, practice, you are ing to me about practice, practice man, practice"

He looked real good in the game.

When you're a LB in the NFL and the OWNER of your team is overheard telling someone you are "finesse"...

that's just not a good sign.

Oh really? Whats a worse sign to you...that or being relegated to special teams plays as a first round pick?

I think When you're a LB in the NFL and the OWNER of your team is overheard telling someone you are "finesse"... is worse.

The guy has been invested in because of his 1st round statis and they put him on special teams to get some money back. After this year if he continues to suck his ass is good bye
