Check out timvp's posts in the main trade thread. He's correct: the trade gives no advantage in any way other than fattening Holt's wallet. Other easily made trades would have cleared the same money without making a rival tons better.

You can't be serious. You're saying an American who believes in the political tradition of FDR, JFK, & LBJ is more evil than a slave owner? Political loyalties aside, if you really think that, you've sadly lost your way. Whether you are a conservative who dislikes liberalism, a liberal who dislikes conservatism, or any of the many shades or variations in between, if your anger towards the other side is so great that you can believe such a thing, then you have a very strange view of the world. Do you feel the same way about Tony Blair? Because he, after all, is a liberal too.
